«Tada! This is the real Daylight Prairie!» Ojtaro exclaims with a satisfied smirk on his face.
The landscape is gorgeous. A huge bright and so lush meadow, surrounded by clouds and rocks, full of colorful flowers... The sky is so azure, and the sun warms the atmosphere!
«It's... It's wonderful...» Symphony mutters in shock. She has never seen anything like that.
«And you, Sentinekka? What do you think about it?» the boy asks the Child. He hasn't noticed, however, that she has already run to the grass and that, after making a very amusing and free spin, she falls onto the green grass laughing like crazy.
Symphony giggles and lays down on the ground next to her and smiling with joy.
«Ah, you know what? There is nothing wrong in what you are doing. I come to you!» he exclaims, amused.
As if lifeless, he drops with open arms and face down on the ground and, laughing, crouches down next to Sentinekka, who smiles at him and exclaims:«This place is wonderful! I love it!».
«I'm happy that you like it!» he says to her, a little quietly. The three are breathing the fresh air of nature.
Is this how being free feels like?
Minutes go by, and the children finally sit down on the grass.
Symphony proposes:«I'm off to explore the place a bit. Are you two staying here?».
«Okay!» Sentinekka replies, happy.
Symphony stands up and walks away, leaving the others alone.
-----
There is a lot of quiet.
Sentinekka is busy with some flowers. Ojtaro doesn't know what they're for, but he doesn't care so much.
Flowers are flowers, everyone likes them. He likes them too, sometimes.
Suddenly, Ojtaro asks Sentinekka:«Do you think you can explore an entire realm on your own?».
She turns her head towards him and, intrigued by that question, answers:«With the right informations, maybe, I could do it... Why?».
«Well... In a few days I'll be forced to return to the Isle of Dawn for an important event, and I'm afraid I won't have the time to show you all of the Hidden Forest... Which is the next realm you must see» the boy explains to her with a gloomy look.
The girl interrupts her work. She stares at him for some time, saddened, then she shakes her head and cheers up.
She turns completely towards his traveling companion, revealing that she has just created a beautiful crown of daisies; she kneels closer to Ojtaro and, with some effort, manages to drop the accessory of white petals on the head of the very kind boy who, seeing the scene, begins to smile and seems to feel better.
«I understand that you are busy» begins Sentinekka. Her eyes are as bright as the sun. «Don't worry, I'll do it on my own!».
«Are you sure? We could tell Symphony...».
«There is no need. I also have to learn to explore on my own!».
«If you're so convinced, then it's fine. In case of any second thoughts, tell me everything. Alright?».
Ojtaro smiles at her. He is so glad he met her, she's such an amazing person. She may be silly or childish, but she's free, kind, and truly a comic figure. She's kind of an inspiration. Ojtaro should take example from her. He knows too well that he should. He is too closed off. A dark and incapable of feeling appreciated fourteen-year-old.
But, with Sentinekka, he feels better. He has no problem starting a conversation with her. With her he can live in peace.
«Thank you, Sen'» he concludes, stroking her delicate little head.
«You're welcome!» the friend giggles, excited by the affection.
