Luckily, she still has her speed. That boy didn't even hesitate to believe her. Kinda sad, she hates lying... But, come on! She was getting tired of that long speech.
She kinda feels Ojtaro would do that too thought. Oh yes, he would. He's kinda good at escaping realities and running away.
Sentinekka can still hear the veteran's shouts. The fact that surprises her the most is that he thinks she was hit by some crystal and that she's hurt or something like that... His voice seems worried, not angry.
She runs as fast as she can while giving Winged Lights to the fallen ones. Their positions are painful: they all died while feeling sadness, fear, pain, even madness sometimes, and no one wanted to accept the death. That's kinda cruel to see. If she was still a Moth, she would have been scared of seeing all of that... But she shouldn't be afraid.
-----
Two Winged Lights. She already feels closer to the ending of that day.
And she is in front of another statue that needs freedom. Shards are falling near her and she's hiding behind a rock. The statue is out of the shelter, and Sentinekka needs to reach it.
She makes a small sigh and looks at the corrupted Child. Their hands are begging for help, but they've never received it. Now, after centuries, they finally will.
She prepares herself to run and, then, she sprints towards the statue, under the rain of crystals that is completely out of control now. It's not stopping, and she surely won't wait until it does... Because it will never. In that point of the Eden, the Darkness doesn't stop.
She gives her Winged Light, and immediately returns behind the big stone that was protecting her.
Now she only has to do what the Elder said.
With some of the last strenght she has in her body, she takes the pendant of the Vault in her hands and raises it until it reach the same place as the diamond on her mask's forehead. She can see clearly what happens next. The pendant shines as only the Pure Light could do, and it suddenly disappears in its own sparkling powder, which then enters inside her diamond of her Village of birth.
She feels weaker, like she has no more Light inside of her soul, and she could even collapse without giving to someone her last Winged Light, but she knows she must complete the first part of her mission.
With some dificulties, she manages to reach the last statue she will ever see. Crystals are falling and some of them are even cutting her skin; but a voice stops her from giving her Wing.
«Don't do that!».
It's still the same veteran. He finally found her, after crossing the whole realm and getting hit by different shards. He lost many Winged Lights, but he still has a lot of them.
«I'm warning you, you shouldn't do this!» he shouts while reaching her. «If you deal with that Elder, you'll always meet dangers!».
«Well, I'll always be in danger even if I don't save him» Sentinekka replies. She makes a nervous laugh and continues:«You already know... Too much. But, really, it was nice to meet you. Trust me, I know what I'm doing».
The veteran nods with an expression that shows that he's finally giving up. Before letting his new friend go, he says:«It was nice for me too. If we'll see each other again, you can just call me Em'. How can I call you, instead?».
«Sentinekka» she smiles and answers. «Or just Sen', Senny... Whatever you want».
He doesn't smile as she does. Maybe he's still worried, he doesn't want to understand that she's capable of completing that mission. «Fine. Good luck».
After saying these words, he slowly walks away. He's avoiding the crystals, somehow. Or, maybe, it is just her impression.
Sentinekka doesn't care much now. She finally gives her last Winged Light and looks at it for the last time. Will she be able to find it again in a realm? Or will it be lost in the most unknown skies?
The girl doesn't actually know. She just feels pain that immediately ends. It stops when she gets corrupted and Darkness starts growing and trapping her body of Light.
Her hands are on her chest, they don't seek for help from anyone. Her greenish and golden cape completely disappeared, it got destroyed by the crystals. The only thing that is still the same is her necklace of the Vault, which is now on the ground. It got put of her body and got it's original shape. It's not broken, but it will soon return to its owner: the Elder of the Vault.
