Eden (3) - Chapter 11

«I...» Sentinekka doesn't know how to react expect blushing and smiling under her old and pretty mask. Symphony always told her that Oj' probably liked her too, but she never believed it for real. She thought that Symphony was just being supportive or stuff like that, but actually... She was really right!

«A thing is certain» Lamed says, and everyone look straight at her. «He misses you. He misses you a lot» the Elder continues with a displeased tone of voice that makes the little girl feel guilty for something that she never did.

«So... Are we taking her back home or...?» Ayin asks to the others with a curious expression. The Prairie Elder really wants to help the little girl to go home, and he would be so sorry to discover that she can't have her life back.

«Of course, Prairie Elder» the Elder of the Isle of Dawn answers politely and with a kind smile on his face. «She's coming home».

Sentinekka smirks and bows to the Elders with grace and respect towards them. She still can't believe it all, maybe it's all a dream...

Darn, Aurora was right in every song she created: this could be a dream, but it's real and she knows it.

One thing is sure: she must first see her friends and Ojtaro again, then she will have to reach her birth village to tell everyone about her amazing adventure! She already can't wait to see her family again... But, first thing first, she needs to see the people that stayed by her side for all of this time. Mostly her beloved Ojtaro.

«Reach the portal...» Lamed whispers to her with faithful eyes.

And Sah continues the Elder's sentence:«... And you'll find yourself in the Isle where everything started».

Sentinekka makes a step and another, and she walks through the space that the Elders make for her. On her face there is a hopeful smile and maybe one tear or two, but of happiness and not of the pain she had to feel for all of this time. She's finally going to see the love of her life again.

Before she finally walks inside the door, the King reaches her and tells her:«Thank you». His smile is stunning, he looks like nothing bad ever happened in his life. He's getting the peace he deserved, and it's all thanks to Sentinekka and, of course, to Lamed.

«You're welcome» she replies with her shining eyes. They are bright and warm as a star.

And, finally...

She goes.

That voice, Aurora's voice, kept company to her while she only saw the Darkness and the nothingness into her mind. When she woke up, every friend she had was by her side: Orlando, Symphony, Yashi, Youssef, Tewezo, Mona, Timur, Arwen... And Isan and Judy too! Even the Passage students were there. All of them, except Ojtaro.

«Oh, Sentinekka, you're safe!». Symphony immediately hugs her while sobbing like a baby.

They all are in the Isle of Dawn.

The girl chuckles as she reciprocates the hug. Orlando reaches them too, but he's not just sobbing like Symphony: he's literally crying.

«Oh... Come here, Orlando» she whispers to him and, when he comes, she holds him tightly. He's like a brother to her, a small Child that needs to be protected at every cost, just like a Moth.

And everyone, slowly, create a part of that amazing hug.
