The Sanctuary Islands are wonderful. The crystal clear water glistens in the sunlight, while Symphony and Youssef put their feet up on the bright grass.
The girl first wanted to see a cute flying island with a blue pond and yellow paper boats above it. The boats were floating so calmly and they were so pretty.
Youssef explains to her:«This place has many nicknames, but it's best to call it just Sanctuary Islands as a real name».
«It's crazy!» Symphony exclaims, excited.
Around them white birds and manta with golden features that emit sweet calls are flying peacefully.
«I'm so glad you like it! My little village will love you madly, I already know!» he exclaims, and she holds his hand tighter.
«Do you really believe that?».
«Of course, you are amazing!».
Symphony chuckles. Sentinekka would love that place... Who knows how she is doing right now...
Symphony can't get her out of her head. How is she going to be without her for a year? Without her mad joy or her long speeches about the stars?
«So...» Youssef says. «This island is big. First I want to show you my village. After an hour or two, I can show you the rest!».
«I'm in».
Gradually, in the distance, stone houses are alraeady visible; there are crops and paths, gardens and even groups of people.
All that coming and going reminds the girl of her old village, where until at least three days ago she lived with her parents and a few steps away from Sentinekka. Yet the people are different, the place is unknown, the sky is bluer than ever, the birds are less noticeable and time continues to pass, second by second, with minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years.
«Here it is. Home Sweet Home!» Youssef exclaims, satisfied.
Home... Can Symphony call that place Home? It's charming, sure, but it doesn't feel like Home.
Just during her thoughts, a girl calls Youssef by his name and joins him and Symphony.
«Tewezo!» he shouts.
The girl's long hair have the weird shape of a mushroom, she's a little shorter than Youssef, and she's wearing simple and comfortable beige clothes. She looks energetic, she sprinkles happiness.
«Who is she?! Where did you get such a beautiful creature?!» Tewezo asks, speaking of Symphony, who smiles, embarrassed.
Youssef, immediately, replies:«In the Prairie! She has just started her journey!». After a second or two, he introduces the two girls to each other. «Symphony, this is Tewezo, my sister! And, Tewezo, this is Symphony, my new friend and wonderful ray of sunshine...».
«Okay dude, you can stop stealing my sentences and all» his sister interrupts him, shaking her head. Under the mask, Youssef assumes a surprised and slightly offended expression.
«Oh, come on! Stop it!» he shouts, stamping his left foot on the grass.
«What's up? It's true. If you really want to imitate me, compliment a person in an original way!».
Youssef looks at her defiantly and starts to push her, but she precedes him and the boy finds himself on the ground in less than a second, dazed.
«I may be short, but I'm the older and also the stronger of the two. Don't challenge me, Youssef» Tewezo says with a triumphant tone. The girl winks sympathetically at Symphony, who giggles in amusement.
«Mhp... Fine!» Youssef exclaims, getting up after a few moments of hesitation. He adds, furious:«You win, but don't wink at Symphony!».
