When the two Children move away from each other, Ojtaro points to the Spirit of before with his eyes and asks Sentinekka:«So, do you want to free your Spirit?».

«Sure!» the little girl replies. She has already forgotten the bad experience, but Ojtaro is still a little worried: Teth said she would have no mercy. What if she's already planning something? This has never happened before...

Ojtaro and Sentinekka walk towards the Spirit, one enthusiastic, the other silent. The little girl raises her red candle against the blue silhouette, now knowing the procedure of the situation.

Meanwhile, the boy always watches his back. Teth will do something.

Step by step, the two exit the small tunnel they entered to follow the Spirit. It's always a challenge to be in there. If you fall and your energy is low, that's where you stay for the next two days.

Luckily, Sentinekka appears to be agile on avoiding obstacles. It's a positive thing.

The moment when the Spirit appears in front of them comes. He smiles at the little girl, ready to show his blessing, then looks at Ojtaro.

«If you told her the lie that we might be able to fight I swear I'll die a second time» the blue-cloaked Spirit begins while shaking his head with a desolate face.

Ojtaro widens his eyes and slams his hand on his forehead. But how?! How do they know what he does?!

«What?» Sentinekka asks surprised, turning to the side of Ojtaro, who looks away.

«Nothing. Ignore him. Accept the blessing and all and let's get out of here» Ojtaro cuts short, signaling the Spirit to finish the speech with his hand.

«Oh, boy, what's wrong?» the Spirits asks. «It seems that... The Elder has shouted at you for the umpteenth time».

Sentinekka looks really confused. «What?» she says again.

Ojtaro looks at the Spirit, begging him to stop talking.

«Look, I'll let you go. Just don't get me in the middle of whatever's going on. Last time I was about to disappear even from the world of the Fallen Ones» the creature of Light proposes, sighing peacefully.

Ojtaro rolls his eyes, snorts and nods in annoyance as he watches the Spirit give its so-called blessing - more like a curse, huh - to the sweet Sentinekka. And, after that gesture, he flies away into the sky of the Forest.

«I wonder where he went...» Sentinekka reflects aloud.

Ojtaro answers her:«I hope as far away as possible».

«Oh, come on! He was nice!».

«Everyone is nice through your eyes. Not through mine»

Something is wrong. He feels a presence behind them. It's her.

Teth's shadow is everywhere, he sees it above the trees and in the water. The Elder wants to do something. Something bad, something terrible. But if he is there nothing can happen to the precious little girl he must protect.

«Sentinekka: listen to me» he calls her. The little girl is hopping next to him, under the umbrella. The two Children have just passed through a small tunnel that led them to a new part of the Forest.

She turns to him with her eyes open and looking at him curiously. These days Sentinekka is sillier than usual.

Ojtaro continues his words:«When I give a precise signal, you run as fast as you can to a hidden place. Like hide and seek. A little entertainment».

She smiles, excited, and jumps for joy. «Sure!».

Now this is a perfect excuse to help Sentinekka to not to die.

He smiles too, just to seem more credible. He just has to do something quick and lightning-fast as soon as he sees Teth's shadow next to his body...

Thank goodness, for the first few moments everything is fine there. The rain falls peacefully, but increased compared to the morning. White birds fly overhead, around the trees.

Then, suddenly, at the moment that seems to seem calmest, he sees her. She is there, with them. With a snap, Ojtaro creates golden confetti that jumps playfully from his right hand.

And the little girl, excited, runs away, while he turns and pretends to count to who knows what number.

-----

The Elders have always been capable of becoming shadows alongside the Children of Light. How to recognize one of them? Their shadows shine. They are made of Light created by other beings, not of Light, Love and Darkness together. The Children of Light are made of these three elements, but of Love the most. Their shadows don't shine. Ojtaro's one does, sadly, but not always, because he is not an Elder yet. He's just a descendant of the Elders. His shadow shines only when he's with an Elder, and that detail is not really noticeable.

«Come and face someone stronger than you if you dare, Teth» he whispers. Mh mh. He is stronger. His heart contains the Light of Megabird and the Darkness and even of the Love, maybe. Teth is just Pure Light.

And the Elder emerges from the shadows in the form of a Child rather similar to her. «Where is she?» she hisses, furious.

«Certainly very distant. You'll never find her, kiddo» he jokes cruelly. How nice to see Teth in trouble.

Ojtaro already knows that after this day he will find himself talking to the Elders, all in order, but he doesn't care. Sentinekka will live as long as he will be with her and will protect her.

«Ojtaro, I don't want to hurt her! I just want to separate you, maybe with magic like memory loss spells, but I would never kill a little girl!» she insists with a tired look.

«It does not matter. She and I remain united. Either you give up, or you spend all your energy looking for her».
