Passage - Chapter 2

The first lesson is finally complete!

Sentinekka is sitting on the beautiful dark sand of the Isle in the night with Symphony and Orlando, while the others are behind them. All of the Children sits in lines, waiting for the Guide to speak.

He is holding a mask on the top of the Stone and the students are opposite to him. The brown mask floats and, then, ends up on the center of the wall of the Passage Stone.

«Now, I think it is time for some general introduction» the Guide finally speaks while he's coming back to the Children. His students follow him and sit next to him, in front of the Stone.

«Luckily, we have two young kids that are talkative, don't you two think?» he says and looks at Leilah and Mihok, who chuckle in chorus and nod.

Mihok starts:«I am Mihok and she's Leilah! We are twins!» and the sister continues:«We also have another twin, but he is not here. He'll come soon thought. Anyways: Mihok can turn into a raccoon, while I'm just a sporty person! It's wonderful to meet y'all!».

Leilah and Mihok are extrovert, that's a great personality trait.

«My... My name is Joyz» another one of the students talks after them. He is the one who Ojtaro considers a "shy guy, a drama queen". But he's a boy? Joyz looks at the crowd of people that stare at him, waiting for some other words, but he doesn't add anything.

The last one talks for him:«Well, as he said, his name is Joyz. He's sixteen years old and likes the soccer from the Valley of Triumph. He isn't our sibling, he only does the Lessons like you all, but he is welcome here as y'all are». The Guide looks at him. His mask hides his face, but Sentinekka can tell that he is proud. Then, the boy adds:«And I am Horand, I'm sixteen too. I like poetry, if you really wanna know, and...» Horand turns to his father, waiting for a reaction. The Guide nods. «... And I'll be the next Passage Guide, as you can see from my "Seasonal" pendant. Only Guides and future Guides have it, but we like to give similar jewels to the Children».

Some surprised noise comes from the throng. Sentinekka is amazed too. She didn't know about this, she thought a different thing about the pendant: she believed it was just a gift, a symbolic thing.

After the students, every Child present in the realm introduces their selves. There are people that like skating, people that love exploring and meeting new friends, people that are proud to go in the Eye of Eden to save someone or to just demonstrate their courage... And there are people like her, curious to know more about the past of their Kingdom. People that don't accept the silence of the Elders, that want to know more and more!

Sentinekka is so happy that there are determinated Sky kids that would do whatever to understand why the Darkness came... Even thought they might not be as many as the ones who aren't interested in the past. But hey! At least there is someone!

Phan asks to the students:«Didn't you say that you have another sibling? Where is him?». Oh, she's talking about Ojtaro.

«They do». A voice doesn't let Horand answer to the question. It's Oj'! He finally came back from the First Lesson of his Trials. «Here I am» he continues.

The boy walks to his family and sits with them, then introduces himself:«My name's Ojtaro, and I'm fifteen years old. As my twin Mihok can do, I can turn into animals, mostly of Light. I don't have a real hobby, but I like adventures. It's a pleasure to meet you».

Phan is still surprised: she didn't expect his arrival, and this event made her feel a little nervous.
