She just has no words about who she is seeing. Sentinekka knew that moment was going to happen. She just didn't know how to react, and still doesn't know how to do that.
She is right in front of the King of the Eden...
«I know what you came here for, my little Child of Light» the Ruler tells her with a cordial tone and a rigid position that looks uncomfortable and royal. Sentinekka smiles, excited. The situation is getting better, it's improving always more. «But your journey was quite... Useless. The legends that the people say about me and about the "enchanted objects" that I was supposed to steal in their stories for Children are falsehoods. In fact, I'm afraid that I don't have any potion or spell here, in my broken realm».
Sentinekka's smile becomes a confused expression. «What?» she asks.
«You heard me» he answers. «No spells here. I don't know who told you that I steal magic, but I anyways wouldn't do that. I'm afraid that you came here for nothing, young girl».
Errr... What? Spells? Who talked about spells? She didn't for sure.
«Uhm... My King...» she mutters. She then breathes and explains with an amused and still surprised look:«I think you misunderstood, your Highness...».
Sentinekka would love to make the King Resh understand the current situation. He looks smart... But dumb at the same time.
«I said what I said, Child» he interrupts her while walking away. «Go home, I will help you. And don't return in this temple ever again. You're not safe here».
She follows him and shouts:«Hey! Wait!» until she manages to run before him and stop him. «Could you at least listen when I speak?».
«What a determinated Child you are; I can see...» he thinks out loud. «You somehow remind me of a really old and special friend of mine, which had as name...».
«Lamed!». She's the one who interrupts him this time, and she's kinda proud of herself. You must have courage to speak over a Ruler like Resh, and there is no doubt. While seeing the King's shocked face, she continues with serious eyes:«Listen here: I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't come here for spells, but for something important! Lamed, also known as Vault Elder, sent me here just to save you and I won't go back to my home until you'll be safe! Am I clear?».
He hesitates to answer, but he then says:«How could I forget?».
«Huh?» she asks, even more confused than before. «What do you mean?».
«Follow me. Now» he commands with a strange and serious expression.
-----
«So, you're telling me that I was chosen to be your "savior" even before my birth?!» she exclaims, shocked. «How is it just possible?! Why would Lamed do this?».
«Lamed did not choose you, kid» the King fastly replies while looking at some letters that he said were from Lamed. She sent him those messages during the wars. The Elder of the Vault and the Ruler were best friends, and they wrote so many letters to each other that Sentinekka doesn't even know how they had the time to do that. «But she knew that I needed someone. And, after all of this time, there you are».
«That is... Quite surprising» she mutters with a still astonished face.
«It is» he politely answers. «And what a coincidence... I have the feeling you know a certain... Descendant. He should even replace me... You do. You do, am I right?».
Sentinekka tries to say something, but in the Ruler's gaze she can see that the sparkle of madness that led him to cause so much distruction in his Kingdom. So, she stays silent. She's a little too scared to speak.
How does he even know about Oj'?! It's just so absurd...
«Lamed knew everything, and she always tried to tell me. I never listened» the King whispers while continuing his "journey to the past" with every single letter that he finds in an old chest made of blue stone.
