Orlando immediately reaches him and hugs him while crying in sorrow. That was expected, after all. Orlando saw Sentinekka as the best friend he's ever had and now... Who will tell him to sleep and to not think about his fears? And who will help him asking for help?
That's a question he knows the answer to, who knows how: he will. Sentinekka, her sweet love and friend, is gone and didn't have the chance to say goodbye. She left them alone, and Orlando hasn't got many people he can trust for real.
Ojtaro will help him. And there are no doubts. He will, he feels in his soul that he must do it. It is his new duty, now.
«Hey, you better take off your mask...» he tells him with a softened look. «It will get ruined...».
He helps Orlando set his face free from his wooden mask, then puts the traditional cosmetic on a tiny table near his bed.
Our descendant of the Elders always wondered how Orlando continued to live without giving up or something like that. He's still standing despite everything that happened to him.
«Why did she... Have to leave...?» Orlando asks while sobbing and holding his friend. «Why... Would she leave u...s?».
«She didn't want to» he answers with a sad voice. «Sen' wanted to stay with us, but...».
He could continue the sentence, but he doesn't say it.
The King didn't let her come back. He's ruling the ruined Eden. He probably killed her with falling crystals. What if he planned to take Sentinekka away from him... Because he knows that he's destinated to die...?
Suddenly, he can't wait for his coronation. That's the first time he feels this. The King took Sentinekka away, and he's going to pay for that. That's the first time that he likes the idea of becoming an Elder...
«Ojtaro...? A... Are you there?».
He got distracted and didn't hear Orlando. «Y...Yes» he answers. «Sorry. What did you say?».
«I'm sorry...».
«Huh?» Ojtaro asks him. «What do you mean?».
The friend answers while muttering:«You really liked Sentinekka... I am really... Really sorry for you...».
Ojtaro doesn't talk for a while. He's trying to hold his tears. He almost can't believe that one of the people he loved the most is gone and won't return. He won't complete any new Seasons with her, they won't see each other every day anymore. The only thought makes him shiver as there was wind in the room.
«Don't be sorry for something you're not in, Orlando. Don't be sorry» he replies with his eyes closed. He gets away from his old friend and crosses his arms in a softer way than how he usually does it. That position doesn't look bothered or bored, it looks just concerned. «Do you know... About my origins...?».
«Y... Yeah... But I've never told anyone» Orlando answers with a kind of scared voice. «W...Why?». He starts to flinch with an afraid look.
Ojtaro chuckles, amused. «Don't worry, I didn't want to look scary. I just wanted to make sure you knew about my role».
«Oh, I see...».
«Just... You'll try to keep the secret, won't you?».
«Of course... I could never reveal it...».
«Thank you» he concludes with a smile that doesn't hide very well his emotions. «I'll make sure to do what I couldn't do with Sen'».
«What do you mean?» Orlando asks him with curious eyes.
«I'll make sure to protect you».
