The order of the images are Emi and Iku, like the title of this Chapter. These two have really interesting origin:
As you can read, their names means "me" and "death". This is supposed to represent the whole realm of the Golden Wastelands. In fact, the "me" is connected to every Child that went in the Wastelands and risked to lose Light, while "death" symbolizes every Child that really lost Light and died in that realm; These brothers are actually two creatures similar to Ojtaro, but not made of Pure Light or Pure Darkness. They're made of both elements and stay beside every Child that enters in the fifth realm in different shapes to bring them good luck if the Child did more good things in their life or bad luck if they did more bad things than good ones;They come from the Sunny side of the Forest, but they don't visit that place often. When Saki found them, they returned a bit later in that realm in the form of two new Moths to continue their little job;They both knew about Sentinekka's mission even before knowing her. Darkness, Love and Light's keepers always know everything; Eyes (Emi and Iku) ↠ black.
