«Tenacity reveals the way home».

«You're telling me that you're going to be my... Assistant?» Ojtaro asks Youssef, bothered. He kinda tries to hide his anger, but he'd really love to slap him in the face and have explanations from the Prophets. He gets a little bit sick because of that enchanted water and... Boom! They all think he's an idiot and that he can't do a Trial on his own.

Youssef smiles and exclaims:«Yessir! I can't wait to help you! And I still can't believe that you are one of the most powerful creatures ever!».

He looks excited.

Ojtaro will probably throw him in the next Trial's most dangerous traps. Ha ha, that would be funny.

He sadly cannot do that, because he feels like the Prophets could get mad. And Sen' too. She finds Youssef amusing, so she would actually be pretty mad at Ojtaro.

«Listen» Ojtaro says in a cold tone. «Don't you dare tell this to anyone. Not even your sister, alright? No one should know».

They both are walking to the inside of the Cave of Prophecy.

«But you told me that Sentinekka already knows» Youssef comments, confused.

«Well, she knows how to keep a secret. You don't».

«When did she discover your "magical origins"?».

«One year ago. A person from the Valley told her, but she didn't want to know that. She lived for an year with that secret and never told anyone about it».

«How do you know that?».

«Are you trying to make me think that Sentinekka is lying?» he asks, glaring at him. «If you care about your life, you better not do that».

«Sorry...».

«It's okay».

No, it's not okay. Someone, please, take that person away from him!

-----

«A maze!» Youssef exclaims, amazed by the Trial of Earth.

«Shut up». Ojtaro thinks of those words with all of his heart, but doesn't say them. «We have to get out of here» he says. «Let's go, we aren't going to waste any time».

Ojtaro walks to the two closed doors of the Trial. They must be opened with fire, he supposes.

He calls Youssef by his name and points at one of the two statues with the symbol of the Earth. «Can you please use your candle to light that one up? I'll do the other one. They'll open the gate».

The assistant nods respectfully and reaches the indicated point.

Ojtaro does the same thing with the other statue, and the gates don't open themselves for them: they just float until they disappear in the air.

«What the...?» Ojtaro looks at the stones that used to be doors flying away in the sky. «This is... Original».

Youssef laughs, amused. «You didn't expect that, dude?» he asks, smiling.

«I've never did those Trials in my whole life» Ojtaro replies, shocked. «I knew they were surprising, but seeing two doors fly away like that is too much for me».

They both walk across the entrance and see a big maze made of different corridors. The time is going fast, and he already wants to reach today's goal.

Geez, Ojtaro is starting to think that he'll never come back home.

The ways he can go through aren't too much. He only must follow the walls.

-----

«It's fascinating!» Youssef exclaims, stunned. «I didn't know an Elder was able to be so agile and fast!».

«I just jumped on rocks, everyone can do that» he precises, rolling his eyes. He's kinda getting used to Youssef's childish behavior. «Come on, I'm not going to leave you in this cycle of floating stones. Hurry up».

«Yeah, let me just... Aah!».

He fell again in the void.

Youssef reappears in the same place of before and he glares at the stones that are supposed to make a "safe bridge" for them. They can move, so people always spend most of their time in that trap.

Ojtaro doesn't mind it. He thinks about that voice. That voice of before who kept introducing the Trials to him.

«Have you got enough tenacity?!».

Again. Who's that? Did Youssef hear that?!

It's too close, too familiar. But he never met it, he never met anyone connected with the Trials... Why? Is that voice trying to tell him something?

Oh, what a stupid question: yes, it is. Something is wrong.

«Will you replace me?».

... What...
