Wastelands - Chapter 12

A small crowd of Children of Light is surrounding her and the girl, and they all seem to love her voice. Sentinekka sang three songs for now, and this one is the last one. She already sang "Warrior", "The Seed", "Exist For Love" - that one was pretty lovely, she immediately thought about Oj' and some people probably noticed it in her eyes - and she's now singing one of her favorite songs: "All Is Soft Inside".

The girl from before, who is actually called Dalhi, is really good at playing the Prophecy Drum, an instrument from the Season of Prophecy. With Dalhi, there are two other Children that are playing a guitar and a bell, and the results are amazing.

«Did you know that we're all turning softer inside?».

Sentinekka sings, while she raises her arms as if to encourage the spectators. Everyone is looking enthusiastically at her. Did they know about the existence of a similar voice? They didn't, surely, because their faces are amazed.

They also didn't know that Aurora was always right: when you meet someone that will be important in your life, you get softer. That's how the heart works, after all. Their demigoddess knows much about it, since she rules the Love.

«We can save what is pure if the hearts can collide!».

Once she never thought that there was another power beneath the Light and the Darkness, she never knew what was the most important magic of them all; the magic of Aurora shouldn't be seen as ignored or forgotten, it should be known as the other two that ruled over the Kingdom for centuries.

«All that I've ever known is the universe is wild; is the universe is wild!».

A small sound of the bell finishes the song in a quiet and dramatic way.

Love should be the most powerful thing. It is the most powerful thing. People just won't accept or see it.

A set of happy shouts rises from the whole temple. The Children are applauding to her, but she doesn't care that much. She finally figured out something, something that the Elders must know at every cost.

Sentinekka smiles, waves at the crowd of people and, after saying bye to Dalhi and her friends, who acclaimed her as she was someone important, she runs away.

She can't believe it: Love was always the most strong power, but it was hidden. It was hidden somewhere only the two principal gods know.

Is she the first Child of Light who understood that? It surely can't be, there must be someone else!

Every song of Aurora has a meaning, a story behind it, and there are people who already know that; they just don't know where the story slowly leads. Well, she doesn't know much too, but she will discover what she needs to see.

Now that Sentinekka has a fourth motivation to continue her journey, no one can stop her anymore. She needs to make everyone understand that Love is the most powerful thing in the Kingdom.
