The Passage Lessons - Chapter 1

Sentinekka has never seen such a beautiful place! The Isle of Dawn during the night is amazing...

Here she is, looking around the realm with her friends: Symphony, Orlando, Yashi, Auntie Mona, Youssef and Tewezo. Judy started a journey to the Eye of Eden. Timur is busy with some of his friends. Arwen stayed at the Village to practice with her bow. So... It's just them.

Talking about Oj'... He told her about his Trials, so he isn't here right now. He'll probably come after them later, after his first special Lesson.

There are many different Children of the Light: some group of friends talk, some other Child is all alone, some other is lost in their imagination.

Finally, an adult voice calls them all:«Good evening, my fellow Children of the Light». Everyone turns around. The one who is speaking is a tall man, the Guide of the Passage. He's wearing a mask that should represent a bear, with light blue decorations and a brownish color. «Welcome to the Passage Stone: a place of learning and cooperation. Come closer, and let me explain what we'll do. This Lesson is going to be more interesting than how it has been in the last centuries».

He says those words with a warm tone, even thought Sentinekka has slowly realized that the Passage students aren't here.

She and her friends walk to the Stone with the other kids.

«Something a little unexpected happened today» the Guide continues. «Usually, the students of the Passage are always with their Guide... But today's Children are somehow much rebel than the ones of years ago, so they thought that hiding in this realm was a good idea to escape their father's Lessons. Now I'd love to get some help to find them. After that, we all will introduce ourselves. What do you say?». Sen' chuckles. Are Ojtaro's siblings that desperate to do that? It's kinda funny.

While she smiles, amused, the others nod politely.

«I'll take this reaction as a "yes"» he concludes. «You first have to call the mask of today. Here's what you have to do to find the students: we need four groups. Each other will take a container of Light and put it around the Isle. The Light of the fire will connect and will be helpful to find the students. The people that will remain without something to do will be the ones who will search for them. Is everything clear?».

Sentinekka can hear a bunch of:«Yessir!» and:«Sure».

Her job is to search for the students with a group of other Children. They all are unknown to her, but they seem nice!

They only have to wait until the Light comes to them. Then they'll be able to search for the disappeared students.

Oh! Finally! Far away, Sen' can see a small source of fire.

«Shall we start the research?» someone asks to her. It's a young girl of her age with a traditional mask from the Hidden Forest - she probably comes from the Wind Paths -, short and wavy hair and a purple cape with golden decorations from the Season of Enchantment. She's wearing a normal uniform of the Passage, a beige tunic with red details.

«Sure, it's not a bad idea». Only then Sentinekka realizes that all of her companions chose her as their "temporary" guide.

Sentinekka leads them to the direction of the Light. It's bright.

While they walk, the other groups make new ways for them.

Not much time passes that Sentinekka finds the first student: it's Horand, Ojtaro's big brother. He sighs. «Well, I guess I'll just help you all» he says, smiling. Then, he shouts:«Guys, come out! Mission failed».

In that moment, Ojtaro's siblings reach them with a painful expression. Leilah, after seeing Sentinekka, instantly changes her face and exclaims:«At least I've been found by someone that I like! Great job! Can I call you Senny?».

Sentinekka answers kindly:«Of course you can! Thank you!». She adds:«Now we should go to the Passage Stone».

Everyone present nods with proud eyes. They finished the first lesson, but many others will come... Oh, who knows what is going to happen! Sentinekka can't wait to tell Ojtaro everything! She also wants to know how he is doing the Trials of the Elements.

During the little trip to reach the Passage Stone, the girl of before introduces herself to Sentinekka. Her name is Phan, she is fourteen years old and she comes from the Hidden Forest, as she thought.
