That was so close!
Sentinekka makes a sigh of relief. She and Guwa are walking on a ledge that serves as a path for the Children, on a large and strange set of pipes. They both are going slowly. They know that any wrong step can make them fall and kill them instantly.
They just risked to be krilled. And they risked for real. A dragon almost hit Guwa, and Sentinekka had to distract it to help her new friend. Then, they hid behind a group of stones and the dragon went away. Isan was right about Krills. They are the stupidest creatures ever.
«Hey, thank you for before» Guwa tells her while proceeding to walk. «You've been brave. I'm sure the Elder chose you for that reason».
Sentinekka smiles and says:«You help me, I help you. That's how a friendship works. Don't thank me».
«I'm also sure you took this courage from someone» Guwa insists while doing her usual smirk. «Who?».
«The descendant» Sentinekka instantly replies. «He was a guide for me, back to my Moth days. I don't know if he's still brave or not. But he looks like he is».
«You miss him».
«Is that a question?».
«No. I know you miss him».
«I do, but now we should keep going».
«Does he know that you're there? Or, at least, the reasons?».
«He doesn't know about my mission. He only knows about my friend. Nothing else».
«You didn't tell him?».
They enter inside a new gallery, a kind of duct that then leads them to a hiding place. It looks like a small tower, maybe it was once used control the realm. Inside of it, there aren't many recognisable things: some lanterns, surely, and a group of stones and rocks, which create stairs that are supposed to guide the Children of Light in another new path.
While they cross the room and its stairs, Sentinekka answers Guwa's question:«Not about the King. Can you even imagine how he would have reacted? He would have tried to stop me. And if he only knew that I want to go in Eden to help him too... The only thing I can say is "chaos". He would have been so worried».
«I have the impression that he is overprotective».
«Huh, I guess he is» Sentinekka admits. «But it's kinda cute».
«And brave?» Guwa asks again. Their discussion started with that question, and here she goes again. She's curious, really! No one can stop her from asking questions and questions!
Sentinekka chuckles. «Oh, I don't know! He probably is!».
«Would he save you from Eden if he only knew what you're doin' here?» Guwa continues. «I'm starting to think that you two would be a...».
«A great couple, yes, yes. Everyone in my friends group say that, except my best friend».
«Why? Also, you did not answer my question of before».
«My best friend is just wary and she worries for me...» Sentinekka tells her. «And Oj' would probably go here without knowing how to survive... If he's mortal like every Child».
«I think that Elders are immortal».
«But he's not an Elder. Not yet».
«Err... I don't know if he is immortal or not, I just hope he is».
«Oh, I hope that too...».
