«How can you be so sure about it? Rhythm could be everywhere, maybe he's even coming back right now!» his father, the Guide of Passage, is talking near the Passage Stone with the Performance Guide. They're discussing about the mission of saving the Guide of Rhythm.

Performance shakes his head, concerned, and says:«I don't know, I have to reach him anyways. We're not receiving news, and you know that Rhythm is my brother. I can't let him risk. If he goes, I go too».

Ojtaro is listening to the conversation, even thought he shouldn't. He's sitting on the top of the Stone in the shape of a bird, so no one will recognize or notice him instantly. The birds are common in the Isle, and seeing one of them on the Stone is not that strange.

Seeing his father worried like that makes him feel guilty, even thought it's not even his fault. The Passage Guide always had an unlucky fate, which disappeared when he adopted Horand and, then, the others.

«I don't want to lose anyone of you! Can't you do anything else?».

«Passage, every Guide tried their best to use their powers. You did too, and I thank you for this. Sadly, the only solution that remains is to follow him and to hope he's alright. And I'm going to do that with Dreams and Enchantment. May you like it or not».

The Passage Guide sighs. He can't reach them, he has a family he must take care of. He can't leave his children behind. «You won't risk your life? Promise that you all will be alright».

«We already lived without you, Passage. We can do it again» Performance smiles under his penguin mask, created who knows how long ago.

«Hey! Those were the time I was chased by the soldiers of the Elders! You knew I was going to be fine, they were slow and they weren't even able to catch me!».

«We didn't, we were worried every day and always waiting for messages! And, sometimes, they didn't even arrive! You cannot know how much you made us worry».

«I told you I was safe, that I knew how to control the situation» Ojtaro's father rebels against Performance. «You don't know how to...».

«We do» the other stops him with a gesture. «I know you mean well, but I have to help my brother. Just stay with your family and everything will be fine».

«You heard what I said about that vision I had, during the last reunion! "Whoever goes in the fog will become the fog itself"! Who will make you all avoid the fog?!».

Vision?

Ojtaro doesn't move, he can't believe what he heard. A vision. His father didn't have visions since Horand's arrival in his life. How is this possible?!

That's a problem, visions are never good if his father receives them after all of this time...

«The Enchantment Guide knows what to do, and surely we won't just walk in the fog like a bunch of idiots» Performance reassures him as a good friend would do. «Also, your last son is hearing our conversation».

«What?». The Guide suddenly looks up. Uh oh. He noticed him... «Come down, Ojtaro!».

The boy obeys: he comes back to his normal shape and slowly gets down from the Passage Stone.

Silence falls between the small group; he shouldn't have heard what was the topic of the Guide's argument. Now he knows something he wasn't supposed to discover like that.
