The arrival of the Darkness changed them. It made them look so vulnerable and fragile. In one of the books of the Vault of Knowledge, someone describes them as Daleth, the Elder of Severity; Ayin, the Elder of the Absence; Teth, the Elder of the Disbelief; Sah and Mekh, the Elders of the Defeat - I guess that the Priestess counts too? -; Tsadi, the Elder of the Costant War; Lamed, the Elder of the Silence; and Resh, the Ruler of the Corruption.

The Elders, year after year, changed everything. Most of the people sees them as inspirating deities... But not Ojtaro. And same is for Judy or me.

To be clear, everything that I discovered made me understand some things: the Elders were different, right? They weren't always like this. Right? Oh, so many doubts!

Ojtaro is now silent, he is waiting for me to finish the quest of the sapling.

The Lightseekers... I love that part of the past.

-----

«The Lightseekers were once ancestors of the Children of Light; they tried to bring the Light back to the Kingdom... But they died, and now they are the protectors of five small saplings and the faithful servants of the Elders of the Prairie, Forest, Valley, Wastelands and Vault. The Isle refused to have to deal with the Lightseekers, even thought one of them is his assistant» Sentinekka tells, actually speaking to herself.

«And why?». Ojtaro listens carefully to her words as they were sacred. He kneels next to her, who is sitting elegantly in front of the sapling, a beautiful plant with blue bark and delicate pink leaves. The Lightseeker of the Prairie is looking at them, surprised. Lightseekers usually don't speak, so he's probably wondering how does that little girl knows all of this.

«Because they reminded him of the Light that died slowly. Also, he doesn't believe in miracles, he knew that nothing could stop the Darkness» Sentinekka explains, while a leaf falls gracefully on her left arm. She takes it and stares at the Doublefive Light Catcher, waiting for a gesture that will tell her what to do with the leaf. When a leaf falls, nobody knows if it's bad or good in the most cases... But she learned how to understand the gestures of the Lightseekers.

"Keep it" the Spirit's head says with a small movement.

«Thank you» she says, smiling. The Lighseeker moves again his head to show a polite "Don't thank me" and then waits for them to stand up. The quest is finished. «But why?» Sentinekka tries to ask him again, but he doesn't answer and disappears.

«Eh, I guess he just wants you to keep it... It seems that Spirits like you, right?». Ojtaro makes this hypothesis without caring much about the possible meaning of that small and pretty leaf.

But what if the Lightseeker wants to say something?

That's how Sentinekka thinks. She is curious, she wants to know always more and she isn't afraid of thinking of the million possible reasons why something happened.

Then, Ojtaro proposes:«Are we going to the Butterfly Fields?».

«Oh, sure. Let's go».

They start to walk to that little part of the start of the Prairie that will take them to the Field, and they start flying into the tunnel of white and soft clouds. Flocks of birds follow them and create a lovely way of creature white as the snow of the Valley of Triumph.
