We came to an open field, seeing about 100+ walkers, going in a circle, changing always directions. »There's about 130, 140 of 'em« Daryl told us while approaching with Dog. Jesus turned to us. »You ever see them do this before?« He asked confused and I shook my head. »No. Never.« Aaron added, still looking at the walker herd.

»Isn't Rosita's backtrail going right through them?« I questioned, standing up while turning my head to my lover. He nodded, »Yeah.«, »We should get the horses, circle 'round, then we'll pick it up on foot.« The archer meant and my eyes moved back to the herd. »What about them?« Aaron motioned his head to the braindeads while asking. »What about 'em?« Daryl muttered as I furrowed my eyebrows.

»They're just milling around.« Jesus intervened before I nodded. »That's definitely not normal.« I added, my eyes averting as I looked at each of the men. »Nah. No, it ain't.« He answered as the wind was rushing through, I got a slight chill and looked up. »We should go. There is a storm coming. We better make it quick if we want to follow the tracks.« I told them and my lover called out to dog before we started walking back to the horses.

About a few minutes of walking we stopped. Me and Daryl were in the front with Dog. Aaron and Jesus in the back. The wind started whistling which was good because it also carried the sound of the walkers. »The herd, it's coming for us.« I turned to the both, telling them. The archer was already grabbing an alarm clock, twisting it before throwing it away. The sound is going to distract them. »C'mon. Let's put some ground between us and them.« my lover meant and we started to walk away.

A few moments later we were in the woods, as I looked at the herd which was larger than before. »You put that herd around 140, right?« I asked as I heard footsteps. »Yeah.« Daryl answered as Jesus sighed. »Looks like more than double that now.« he added looking at each of us. »Could be a different herd. Or it merged with another one.« Aaron intervened.

I turned my head forward again. »Ain't gonna be there very long.« the archer muttered and directly after that a ringing went off in the distance. The alarm clock. I felt a hand in mine and my head turned to my lover. »No matter how big it is.. as long as it's goin' the other way.« he added, looking down before walking off, pulling me slightly after him.

It got dark and foggy which was literally the worst. Straight from a horror movie. You couldn't see shit because it was night and on top of that -as if that wasn't already bad- our surroundings weren't clear either. If a walker herd or any walker comes out of the fog we are sure as hell getting a surprise. Important is; keep eyes and ears open all the time.

We got to a little barn that Dog brought us to. I picked my knife out, pointing it forward as I did with the flashlight. »Go on, boy. Go find him.« I whispered and he ran off after I checked the barn. Dog rushed off to a pile of hay, sniffing it before whining. »Move. Good dog.« Daryl muttered, walking towards the pile while we followed. Jesus poked at it. »Here.« he pointed out. »Eugene? Are you in there?« my adrenaline started to rush through my veins as he asked that and no sound came out.
