Quinn looked at her phone, checking the time and hoping for a text from Puck. He was notorious for being late to everything, which is why she had told him to arrive an hour before she planned to arrive.
Quinn sighed. She was disappointed, but in all honesty, she wasn't the least bit surprised. She was just about to call it when she saw Puck enter the library.
"Sorry I'm late." Puck apologized, handing Quinn a cup. "I got you some coffee."
Quinn took the cup and looked at Puck. She wanted to yell at him for being late and not taking things seriously and wasting her time, but she knew Puck. She knew that wouldn't be effective.
"I was starting to worry that you got lost." Quinn teased with a smile.
"I'm sorry." Puck apologized, smiling back at Quinn. "I really appreciate you helping me. Not a lot of people look out for me the way that you do, so thank you."
"Don't thank me yet." Quinn warned Puck. "We have a lot to get through."
"Yeah." Puck nodded. "After this, can I buy you dinner?"
Quinn raised her eyebrow.
"You know, as a thank you." Puck added.
"Just sit down."
