Favorite Uncle (Beth/Finn/Quicketh)

Finn furrowed his eyebrows when he saw the brunette waiting outside his apartment door. "Beth?"

Beth looked at her godfather and smiled as she got up from the floor. "Hi."

"Hey, tiny." Finn smiled as Beth greeted him with a hug. He looked at her when they parted. "What are you doing here?"

"I can't surprise my favorite uncle?" Beth asked.

"I'm totally telling Jake you said that." Finn smirked. "Do your parents know you're here?"

Beth made a face.

"That's the Puckerman guilty face." Finn noted. "But come inside. You can tell me what's going on and then I'll decide if I'm calling your dad or your mom."

"Okay." Beth replied as she followed Finn into the apartment. She looked around, noticing how quiet it was. "Where are Rachel and the kids?"

"Barbra's asleep inside, and Rachel took Chris to a Mommy and me class." Finn answered. "They'll be back soon actually."

Beth nodded.

"You wanna tell me what's going on?" Finn requested.

"My parents are having another baby." Beth told Finn.

"Really?" Finn asked. "Wow, that's-"

"Horrible." Beth interrupted. "My mom almost died when Lulu was born."

"I know that was really scary, but she's still here." Finn pointed out. "And she's gonna be fine this time, too."

"It's not just that." Beth went on. "I'm tired of taking care of my siblings all the time. And I don't even care if that makes me sound spoiled or bratty."

"It doesn't." Finn swore.

Beth looked at him.

"Look, I felt the same way when my mom and Burt expected me to take care of Kurt at school all the time." Finn confessed. "But he's my brother and I love him. And I know you love your siblings."

"I do, but I don't wanna parent them." Beth stated.

"I get that." Finn told Beth. "But that doesn't mean you can just disappear on them."

Beth frowned.

"They look up to you." Finn reminded Beth. "You're their big sister."

"Yeah." Beth nodded as the door opened and Rachel came in with Christopher.

"Hi, Rach." Finn greeted Rachel with a kiss before scooping up his son. "Hey, pal."

"Hi." Rachel smiled. "Hi, Beth. I didn't know you guys were in town."

"It's actually just me." Beth admitted. "The rest of them are home."

"Wait, home, like, in L.A.?" Finn questioned Beth.

"Yeah." Beth said.

"You didn't tell me that." Finn muttered as he turned to Rachel. "She didn't tell me that."

Rachel nodded as she took Christopher from Finn. "We're gonna go say hi to Barbra."

"Okay." Finn nodded back as his wife and son disappeared. He looked at Beth. "You know I have to call your dad, right?"

"Or you could wait to see if he calls you." Beth suggested.

Finn looked at the teenager, unamused.

"Can you at least put him on speaker?" Beth requested.

"Just let me talk to him." Finn suggested. "I'll tell him you can stay the weekend and I'll fly back with you on Sunday."

Beth looked at Finn.

"I'll convince him to go for the lowest punishment since you're a first-time offender, and you'll have a fun weekend in New York." Finn promised.

"Okay." Beth nodded. "Thanks, Uncle Finn. You're the best."
