Quinn hated being pregnant. She hated all of the negative attention like the stares and whispers, she hated feeling lost in her own body and her clothes not fitting, and more often than not, she hated Puck and his family and hated living with them.

Puck was better at the Puckerman house. He would argue with his mom on Quinn's behalf, and despite Quinn pushing him away, he tried to help her wherever and however he could.

At school, it was mostly like Quinn didn't exist. She and Puck didn't have many classes together, since she was in honors classes and he wasn't, and she wasn't a morning person so they didn't speak in the car on the way to school either.

The only times they spoke at school were in glee club, where Puck was the way he was at home. If they passed each other in the halls, Puck would nod at Quinn, but that was it.

Still, Quinn knew Puck was trying. As much as she'd let him. He took her to every doctor's appointment, he knew what she could or couldn't eat and especially what she craved, which he'd happily get for her, and he was trying to be there for her and get to know her.

"Uh oh." One of the football players by Puck's locker muttered, causing the cheerleaders to giggle.

"I'll catch up with you guys later." Puck said when he saw it was Quinn.

"Later, Puckerman."

As the jocks passed Quinn, they made inappropriate gestures and comments at her expense.

"Stop." Puck scolded, nudging his friends. "Leave her alone."

They turned their comments, making fun of Puck as the cheerleaders dragged them away.

"Sorry." Puck apologized when he and Quinn were alone. "You okay?"

"Yeah." Quinn said.

"You need anything?" Puck offered.

"Shouldn't you be in class?" Quinn questioned Puck.

"I was just-"

"Go." Quinn commanded. "Now."

"But-"

"Go."

-

"Hey." Quinn said softly as she reached the foot of the basement stairs at the Puckerman house.

"Hey." Puck repeated. "Need anything?"

"I don't want you talking to other girls at school." Quinn blurted.

Puck furrowed his eyebrows.

"You said you wanted to be with me." Quinn continued.

"I did." Puck replied. "I do, but-"

"You've really been there for me." Quinn cut Puck off. "As much as I've let you."

Puck nodded slowly.

"You know what I need before I do." Quinn went on. "You get me whatever I'm craving, and you've taken care of all the bills."

"I'm just trying to help." Puck said.

"The truth is, I can't stand you most of the time." Quinn confessed as she walked over to Puck. "But I need you."

"I'm here." Puck pointed out.

"No, that's not..." Quinn trailed off. "I want you."

"You want me?" Puck asked.

Quinn nodded slowly, joining Puck on the bed. She didn't say anything, and finally, the lightbulb went off in Puck's brain.

"You sure about this?" Puck wondered.

"Yes."
