"If you'll excuse me, I actually need to go freshen up." Quinn interrupted her date as she got up from the table. "I'll be right back."
"I'll be here."
Quinn faked a smile back before leaving the table. She walked to the bathroom and grabbed her phone, dialing her best friend's number.
"Hey, Tubbers."
"Santana, I am on the worst date of my life." Quinn blurted.
"That's what you said last time." Santana noted.
"I really mean it." Quinn insisted.
"That's what you said-"
"Santana." Quinn interrupted. "Come get me."
"Come get you?" Santana repeated. "How old are you?"
"What do I do?" Quinn asked.
"Why don't you just sneak out the window or something?" Santana suggested.
Quinn looked around the bathroom for the window. She thought it over and decided it was worth a try, so she locked the bathroom door before working on opening the window.
"Call me when you're home." Santana added before hanging up.
Once the window was open, Quinn crawled out. She walked away from the restaurant, calling a car to come get her.
When Quinn was in the car, she went through her phone to block her date's number before turning her phone off.
"Excuse me." Quinn blurted. "I put in the wrong address before. Can you take me somewhere else?"
"Sure, what's the address?"
-
Quinn walked into Santana's house like it was her own.
"Santana?"
"Quinn?" Santana furrowed her eyebrows as she walked to the front door. "What are you doing here?"
"It was so bad." Quinn blurted. "I thought dating was fun, and part of me always felt like I missed out a little, but it's been so bad."
"Dating is different for you." Santana stated. "Your marriage is over."
Quinn bit her lip.
"Do you miss him?" Santana asked.
"Yeah." Quinn answered.
"Have you talked to him?" Santana wondered.
Quinn shook her head.
"Maybe you should." Santana shrugged. "Maybe it'll help you move on and actually find fun in dating."
"Is he home?" Quinn questioned Santana.
Santana nodded. "I'll drive you."
-
"You don't have to go in if you don't want to." Santana reminded Quinn as they sat in front of the Puckerman house. "Although it's technically your house, too."
Quinn nodded slowly. She and Puck hadn't even filed for divorce yet, but she knew that she would let him keep the house. He's the one that made it into a home, and he deserved to keep it.
"What are you gonna say?" Santana asked, knowing Quinn was gonna go in.
"I don't know." Quinn replied.
"Do you want me to come in with you?" Santana offered.
"No." Quinn said softly. She took a deep breath, keeping her eyes on the house as she unbuckled and exhaled slowly before getting out of the car.
