"Noah, what are you doing here?" Quinn asked, eyeing the man in her living room.

"You won't return my calls." Puck replied. "This is the only way I can talk to you."

"You need to go, Noah." Quinn said.

"No, not until we talk." Puck shook his head.

"Talk about what?" Quinn wondered.

"You know what." Puck muttered.

"I don't have time for this." Quinn stated.

"You know what." Puck repeated.

"If I did, I wouldn't be asking." Quinn rolled her eyes as she walked to the door and opened it. "Either tell me or go."

Puck pushed the door shut and looked at Quinn. "You took me off of Beth's list."

"What list?" Quinn questioned Puck.

"At school." Puck said. "I went to get her early today and they told me I'm no longer on her approved person pick up list."

Quinn furrowed her eyebrows.

"So explain that to me." Puck demanded.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Quinn said.

Puck took a deep breath, exhaling angrily. It was clear he was trying to stay calm.

"I didn't do that." Quinn shook her head.

"Don't do that." Puck replied. "Don't treat me like I'm an idiot, Quinn. Just admit it."

"I didn't do it!" Quinn exclaimed. "I want you to pick Beth up sometimes and spend time with her, and I want the two of you to be close."

"I don't believe you." Puck said softly.

"You know me." Quinn noted. "You really think I'm lying?"

"If it's not you, then who...?" Puck trailed off.

"Beth!" Quinn called. "Can you come in here please?"

A few seconds later, the six-year-old appeared in front of her parents.

"B, your father tried to pick you up from school today, but they said he's not on your pickup list anymore." Quinn began. "Do you know anything about that?"

Beth glanced at Puck before looking back at Quinn.

"You're not in trouble." Quinn promised. "Just tell me the truth. Do you know anything about that?"

Beth nodded slowly, glancing at Puck again. "I told my teacher Daddy can't come get me."

Quinn furrowed her eyebrows. "Why?"

"'Cause I don't want him to." Beth said softly.

"Noah, you should go." Quinn noted.

"I'm not leaving." Puck shook his head. "This is on you, Quinn."

"Beth, can you please wait for me in your room?" Quinn requested. "I'll be right there."

"Okay." Beth said before walking away.

When Quinn heard Beth's door shut, she looked at Puck.

"She didn't just wake up one day and decide she doesn't want me around." Puck stated. "This is on you. You make her believe whatever you believe."

"I have never talked badly about you in front of her." Quinn argued. "You're a good father, and I've always wanted that for her. And you."

Puck nodded in agreement.

"Can you please go so I can talk to her?" Quinn asked.

"Fine." Puck gave in. "But you have to call me."

"I will." Quinn promised.

Puck hesitated, lingering because he was concerned for Beth, but he trusted Quinn's word and let himself out.

Quinn walked to Beth's room and knocked lightly as she opened the door. "Hey, Daddy just left. Can I come in so we can talk?"

"Okay." Beth nodded.

Quinn entered the room and joined Beth on the bed. She pushed Beth's hair out of her face, gently tucking it behind her ears. "Wanna tell me why you don't want Daddy to pick you up?"

"'Cause I want you to." Beth replied.

Quinn smiled slightly. "Well, B, you know that sometimes I have to work. And now that Daddy's back, he wants to spend time with you again like before he went away."

"But it's not like before." Beth stated.

"Why not?" Quinn wondered.

"'Cause Daddy lived with us before." Beth responded. "And now you won't even talk to each other."

Quinn bit her lip.

Beth looked at Quinn.

"I'm sorry, Beth." Quinn apologized. "What if, if he agrees, the three of us pick one day a week to spend together as a family? We can get dinner and do an activity, just the three of us."

Beth shrugged.

"I think you'd like that." Quinn noted, gently tickling Beth's sides as she pulled her onto her lap.

Beth giggled and held onto Quinn's arms. "Yeah."

"And I think you have fun when he picks you up." Quinn added. "He loves you so much. And I love you so much."

"Do you love him?" Beth asked, looking at Quinn.

"He's family." Quinn nodded.

"Will you talk to him?" Beth requested.

"I will." Quinn promised as she kissed Beth's hair before releasing her and getting up. "I love you."

"Love you." Beth echoed as Quinn left the room.

Quinn walked back to the living room and grabbed her phone. She dialed Puck's number and put the phone to her ear. Furrowing her eyebrow when she heard Puck's phone ringing, Quinn walked to the front door and opened it, looking at Puck in the hall.

"Hi." Quinn said.

"Hi." Puck repeated, and he and Quinn put their phones down.

"You're still here." Quinn noted.

"You called." Puck replied.

"This has nothing to do with you." Quinn clarified. "Beth's upset that things aren't the way they were before."

"I get that that's my fault for leaving, but-"

"The three of us need to spend time together as a family." Quinn interrupted. "So if you're not busy, why don't we start now?"
