"Quinn."
Quinn looked at Puck.
"You got mail." Puck announced. "And I think it's from your sister."
"What?" Quinn asked, furrowing her eyebrows as she took the envelope from Puck and looked it over. "How did she even get our address?"
"I don't know." Puck shrugged. "Maybe you should open it."
"No, if it's from my sister, it's garbage." Quinn shook her head. "I'll get rid of it."
"If you get more, d'you wanna know about it, or do you want me to just throw them away?" Puck wondered.
"Give them to me." Quinn requested. "I'll handle it."
"Okay."
-
"This is ridiculous." Quinn complained, tossing an envelope onto her dresser. "In the last month, I've gotten letters from my sister every single day."
"Why don't you-"
"I've tried returning to sender, I've tried contacting the post office, and I talked to our mailman." Quinn continued. "Enough is enough."
"Read one." Puck suggested. "Maybe it's important."
"It's not important." Quinn said. "She chose to cut me out of her life, which is fine, but she doesn't get to choose to come back after all these years, especially not when she didn't even bother with my mom."
Puck looked at Quinn.
"Don't." Quinn warned him. "Don't open her letters and don't judge me for this. You have a big family and I love them and I'm fine without mine."
"I'm not judging you." Puck promised. "But I know you. This is something you're always gonna wonder about."
Quinn raised her eyebrows.
"If you wanna reach out to your sister, that's your business and your right." Puck pointed out. "I would never judge that and I would never say you can't."
"I know." Quinn replied.
"I only need a say if any of this involves the kids." Puck added.
"Well." Quinn nodded slowly. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves."
"Right." Puck said. "I just want you to know that whatever you do, I'm with you."
"You always are." Quinn smiled slightly. "Thank you."
Puck smiled back. "Come to bed."
"I'm coming."
-
Quinn chewed on her lip as she listened to her phone while it rang.
"Hello?"
"Frannie, it's Quinn." Quinn said nervously.
"Quinny, I'm so glad you called. It's so good to hear from you. How are you?" Frannie responded.
"Stop." Quinn ordered. "Stop acting like we speak. Stop sending me letters. I don't know how you even got my address, but-"
"Quinny." Frannie interrupted. "I've been trying to make amends."
"Why?" Quinn asked.
"Because I hurt you." Frannie stated. "And you're my baby sister."
"It's too late for that." Quinn replied.
"Look, I know you're married and have kids." Frannie stated. "Other than that bastard one."
"Don't." Quinn warned Frannie.
"But I know those things because you have a public life." Frannie continued. "I wanna know them from you."
"I'm really not interested." Quinn said. "Your letters all remain unopened, and you're nothing but a stranger to me."
"We're sisters." Frannie stated. "Family means nothing to you now?"
"Sisters don't treat each other the way you treated me." Quinn pointed out. "I have a family. My husband, his family, and our children."
"Quinny." Frannie begged.
"No." Quinn said. "You don't get forgiveness years later when I'm successful."
"You think this is about your money?" Frannie scoffed.
"I don't care what it's about." Quinn noted. "I don't want anything to do with you."
"What about your kids? You think I'll never run into any of them?" Frannie questioned Quinn.
"Well, for their sakes, I hope not, but it's their choice whether they'd like to associate with you." Quinn explained. "And I know Beth won't."
"Quinny." Frannie sighed.
"Goodbye." Quinn responded before hanging up. She went downstairs where she found Puck and Beth in the living room. "Hey."
"Hey." Puck said. "I came up to say hi when we got in, but you sounded like you were on the phone."
"Yeah, my sister." Quinn said. "We honestly didn't talk much, but she wants to and I don't."
Puck nodded. "Well, I'm sorry she bothered you."
"I called her." Quinn clarified. "To tell her to stop calling and sending letters."
"Is she gonna stop?" Puck asked, glancing at Beth.
Quinn shrugged. "I don't know, but she said she's planning on running into the kids at some point."
Puck furrowed his eyebrows.
"I'm not interested in meeting your sister, Mom." Beth noted. "She treated you like shit when you were pregnant with me, and that tells me all that I need to know."
"Yeah, and if she shows up anywhere near any of my kids, she's gonna have problems." Puck swore. "I have no problem getting law enforcement involved."
