"One last question before I let you go, but I wanted to give my condolences to you for your father's death, and express how sorry I am that you couldn't be there with your family."
"I appreciate the condolences." Quinn began. "But I'd like to take this opportunity to set the record straight because I've seen a lot of different things online about why I didn't go home for my father's funeral."
The reporter looked at Quinn, confused.
"My father disowned me when I was sixteen and we never spoke again." Quinn stated. "He had an affair while he was married to my mother."
The reporter's eyes widened.
"I never wished anything bad upon him, but I certainly won't grieve his death or celebrate his life." Quinn went on. "So no, I wasn't working and neither was my husband. I chose not to go to the services, which were in Chicago."
"If you could speak to your dad one last time, what would you say to him?"
"Quinn." Quinn's publicist interjected. "Alright, we're done here."
