"No, I don't parent my child like that." Quinn shook her head.

"Quinny, don't be so dramatic." Russell said. "She needs to learn. She's a child."

"Yeah, she's my child." Quinn replied. "You and Mom had your chance to raise children how you wanted, and now it's my turn."

"If you don't like something under my roof, you can always leave." Russell told Quinn.

"I think I will." Quinn decided. "At least this time it'll be on my own terms, but feel free to set the timer on the stove while I pack a bag."

"Pack only items that belong to you." Russell added. "Anything I paid for for the baby is mine and stays in my house."

"You're gonna take things from a child?" Quinn asked.

Russell didn't say anything.

Quinn rolled her eyes. "Fine."

After loading up her car, Quinn buckled Beth into her car seat and took one last look at the Fabray house before getting in the driver's seat and driving away.

Quinn drove to Puck's house. When she got there, she parked the car and helped Beth out, holding her hand as they walked to the door. Quinn took a deep breath and knocked, fixing Beth's hair while she waited for someone to answer the door.

The door opened and Finn stood there. "Beth!"

"Finny!" Beth exclaimed as she hugged him.

"Is Noah around? I really need to talk to him." Quinn said.

"Yeah, we were just playing video games." Finn said. "So he sent me to answer the door."

Quinn nodded.

"Come in." Finn added, opening the door and looking back. "Puck, the girls are here."

"Hey." Puck said, putting his controller down and walking over to greet Quinn and Beth. "I didn't know you were coming over."

"Yeah, sorry for showing up unannounced." Quinn apologized.

"Everything okay?" Puck asked.

"Yeah." Quinn lied as she looked at Beth. "B just wanted to see you."

"Hi, Monkeyface." Puck said, putting his arms out.

"Hi, Dada." Beth responded as she ran into Puck's arms.

Puck scooped Beth up and kissed her cheeks before putting her on his hip. "What's up, princess?"

Beth smiled happily and held onto Puck's shirt.

"Q? You sure you're okay?" Puck questioned Quinn.

"Totally."

-

"Beth's down." Puck announced as he returned to Quinn with a baby monitor. "I put her in my room."

"Thanks." Quinn nodded.

"Now do you wanna talk?" Puck offered.

"I'm sorry." Quinn blurted.

"Sorry?" Puck repeated.

"I've made so many mistakes." Quinn said.

"What are you talking about?" Puck questioned Quinn.

"My dad." Quinn answered. "Letting him tell me how to parent the past two years, just because I was afraid."

"Where is this coming from?" Puck wondered.

"He kicked me out again." Quinn said.

"Quinn." Puck frowned.

"Actually, I left." Quinn clarified. "He said something about hitting Beth when she misbehaves."

Puck furrowed his eyebrows.

"No one will ever lay a hand on her as long as I'm around." Quinn swore. "So I packed our bags and... Can Beth and I stay here for a while?"

"Of course you can." Puck nodded as he put his hand over Quinn's.

Quinn bit her lip.

"It's gonna be okay." Puck promised.

"I'm sorry." Quinn apologized. "I shouldn't have gone back to my parents after Beth was born. You were good to me, and I never forgot that, despite the decisions I've made."

"I could've been better." Puck pointed out. "If it happened now, there's a lot I'd do different."

"Like?" Quinn wondered.

"Well, for starters, I wouldn't be messing around with Santana." Puck said.

Quinn laughed lightly.

"I wasn't as good as I should've been when you were pregnant." Puck stated. "But you've always let me be a part of Beth's life."

"I want her to have a father." Quinn noted. "Her father."

"You sure you don't want Finn to come back?" Puck teased.

Quinn smiled. "You've always been a good dad, Noah. Not like mine and not like yours."

Puck shrugged. "That's all I've ever wanted for her."

"Thank you." Quinn nodded.

"It's late." Puck muttered. "You should go get settled in in my room."

"You're not sleeping in the basement." Quinn told Puck.

"I'll be okay." Puck shrugged.

"Come be with me and Beth." Quinn responded.

"You sure?" Puck asked.

"Positive." Quinn confirmed. "Let's do things differently."
