"I got into Yale." Quinn announced in glee club.

"Quinn, this is so amazing. After everything you've been through, you deserve this." Mr. Schue said, and the choir room erupted with agreement and applause.

Quinn's grin faded when she saw the look on Puck's face.

"Eighteenth birthday and big Ivy League girl." Santana smiled. "Congrats, Tubbers."

"Yeah, congrats, Quinn." Mercedes added. "Puck, you must be so proud."

"Absolutely." Puck nodded, his eyes locked on Quinn.

-

"Noah, I can explain."

"Were you ever gonna tell me?" Puck questioned Quinn.

"Yes." Quinn answered. "I almost told you the other day in the choir room, but I was nervous."

"You told Finn." Puck said.

"How do you know that?" Quinn wondered.

"I heard you guys talking about it during your party." Puck confessed.

"You weren't supposed to hear that, but I'm sorry." Quinn apologized.

"Why'd you tell Finn and not me?" Puck asked.

"I needed to talk to a friend about it, not a boyfriend." Quinn clarified.

"Finn's an ex-boyfriend." Puck reminded Quinn.

"I talked to Finn about it because I was planning on deferring, but I realized I really wanna go." Quinn explained.

"If you wanna go, you should go." Puck noted. "Mr. Schue was right; you deserve it."

"I want you and Beth to come with me." Quinn said. "And I know that it's not fair for me to ask you something that huge, especially after you've already sacrificed so much lately, but I want us to stay together."

Puck looked at Quinn.

"Because I love you." Quinn finished.

"I love you, too." Puck said. "And I wanna be with you and Beth, but what am I gonna do in New Haven?"

"You could go to a community college or-"

"I'm not going to college." Puck interrupted. "I doubt I'd ever get into one, but I'm not interested."

Quinn nodded slowly. "I want you to come, but only if you want to. And only if it benefits your future."

Puck didn't say anything.

"Think about it." Quinn added. "I'll be okay with whatever you decide."

"Okay."

-

"Can you help me up?" Quinn requested. "I'm gonna try walking."

"Yeah?" Puck asked.

"Yeah." Quinn nodded. "Will you help me?"

"Yeah." Puck nodded back as he gently pulled Quinn up and supported her weight. "Tell me what you need me to do."

"Don't let me fall." Quinn said, holding the handrails.

"I got you." Puck promised, offering his hands.

Quinn took Puck's hands and held them tightly. She shifted her weight onto her left foot and tried stepping forward with her right foot. It felt heavy, and she was sure it wasn't moving.

Puck watched Quinn, silently cheering her on and supporting her while staying ready to catch her, if needed.

"This isn't working." Quinn commented.

"What?" Puck asked. "Quinn, you were doing it."

"No." Quinn shook her head. "I wasn't."

"Try again." Puck requested.

"No." Quinn repeated. "Help me back to my chair."

"Just try it one more time." Puck encouraged her.

"No." Quinn said. "I wanna go home. I wanna see Beth."

"Okay." Puck nodded. "Okay, come here."

Quinn held onto Puck, wrapping her arms around his neck as he picked her up and put her back in her wheelchair.

The pair were silent for a moment.

"Let's just go." Quinn decided as she wheeled away.

Puck followed her out to the car, helping her in before getting in the driver's seat. He looked at Quinn. "I know I said I needed time to think about it, but I wanna come to New Haven with you and Beth."

"What about your future?" Quinn asked.

"The two of you are my future." Puck stated. "I love you and I don't wanna miss anything."

Quinn looked at Puck, smiling slightly. "I love you, too."
