"Which one of you did this?" Puck demanded as he hurried into the den.
"Did what?" Quinn wondered.
"This." Puck repeated, showing the broken Finn plaque.
"Noah, we'll get it fixed." Quinn said softly as she got up to comfort Puck.
"I wanna know who broke it." Puck stated.
"Anybody have anything to say?" Quinn asked the kids calmly as she looked at them.
"Beth, you're the oldest." Puck said. "Start talking."
"I didn't touch that." Beth swore. "I know how much Finn means to you, and he was my godfather. If you think I'd break-"
"It was me." Hudson interrupted.
Puck clenched his jaw and looked at his son. "Go upstairs."
"It was an accident, and I didn't try to fix it because I didn't wanna make it worse." Hudson explained. "I'm sorry."
"Go upstairs." Puck repeated. "Now."
Hudson got up and slinked out of the room.
Puck went to follow, but Quinn grabbed his arm.
"You need to calm down first."
"Calm down?" Puck repeated. "He destroyed the plaque and waited until I found out to come clean."
"Let me talk to him." Quinn requested. "We'll get it fixed, I promise."
"That's not the point." Puck shook his head. "The point is-"
"Stay here while I talk to him." Quinn cut Puck off as she kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry about the plaque."
Puck took a deep breath and sighed as Quinn walked away.
Quinn went upstairs to Hudson's room and knocked on the door.
"It's me. Can I come in?"
"Yeah." Hudson called.
Quinn opened the door and entered the room. She closed the door behind her before walking over and joining Hudson on the bed.
"You wanna tell me what really happened?" Quinn asked.
"I broke it." Hudson said.
"I know that's not true." Quinn responded. "And if your father wasn't so upset, he'd realize it's not true, too. So tell me what happened."
Hudson looked at Quinn.
"If you tell me the truth now, you won't get in trouble." Quinn promised.
Hudson bit his lip.
"Which one of your sisters are you protecting this time?" Quinn questioned Hudson.
"Not Beth." Hudson muttered.
"Not Beth." Quinn nodded. "So it was Lucy or Grace."
"It wasn't Lulu." Hudson said.
"Grace?" Quinn concluded. "So what happened?"
"It wasn't Grace either." Hudson told Quinn.
"Tell me what happened." Quinn requested.
"When you and Dad were working, we had some friends over." Hudson began. "It didn't start off as anything crazy, but Beth's friends invited people, my friends invited people, and Lulu and Grace's friends were here."
"And things got out of hand." Quinn nodded.
Hudson nodded back.
"I saw some of Beth's friends go upstairs so I came up after a while, and they were in the music room." Hudson explained. "I kicked them out and the next morning when we were cleaning up, I realized the plaque was broken."
"You could've told me or your father." Quinn said.
"I didn't want it to be like I was telling on Beth." Hudson clarified. "She doesn't even know her friends broke it, and I was trying to find a way to get it fixed before Dad noticed."
"Well, I appreciate you telling me now." Quinn noted. "Even if I had to force it out of you."
Hudson looked at Quinn.
"I'm gonna talk to your father." Quinn promised. "Don't worry about it."
"Am I in trouble?" Hudson asked.
"No." Quinn shook her head as she got up. "Come back downstairs."
"Okay." Hudson said.
Quinn led the way downstairs, finding Puck alone in the den. "Noah."
Puck looked at Quinn and Hudson.
"You know he didn't do this." Quinn said. "He was trying to take the fall for someone else."
"Lulu?" Puck guessed.
"No." Quinn answered. "Let's just leave this alone, Noah. We'll get the plaque fixed."
