"Mom!" Beth yelled as she entered the house. "Are you home?"
"I'm in the kitchen!" Quinn called.
Beth stormed into the kitchen and looked at Quinn.
"Hey." Quinn said. "Everything okay?"
"Do you wanna explain this to me?" Beth asked.
"Explain what?" Quinn wondered, looking at the papers in Beth's hand.
"I just got back from the library." Beth stated. "I've been doing research all day."
Quinn furrowed her eyebrows. "Okay."
"Where's Finn?" Beth questioned Quinn.
Quinn looked at Beth.
"Where is he? Because he clearly doesn't know that he's not my father." Beth noted. "But the 23andMe thing doesn't lie."
"I never wanted either of you to get hurt." Quinn said softly.
"So you lied to me." Beth nodded.
"It's not that simple, Beth. I-"
"Do you even know who my father is?" Beth interrupted. "Does he know about me?"
"Your DNA test didn't tell you who he is?" Quinn asked.
"Does he?!" Beth repeated.
"If you calm down, we can talk about this." Quinn promised.
Beth shook her head. "Tell me the truth right now or I'm calling Finn."
Quinn took a deep breath. "Your biological father is Finn's best friend. Well, they haven't seen each other in years, and Finn doesn't know, but he knows."
"And he didn't want me so you lied to Finn all these years instead?" Beth concluded.
"That's not true." Quinn shook her head. She faked a smile as Finn entered the kitchen. "H-Hey."
"Hey." Finn repeated, glancing at Beth. "What's going on?"
"Can I see your high school yearbook?" Beth requested.
"They're in storage." Quinn said.
"Actually, I was just looking at mine the other day, so it's out." Finn replied. "It's on my nightstand, if you wanna go grab it."
"Thanks." Beth nodded, giving Quinn a dirty look before walking away.
"What's that about?" Finn wondered.
"Nothing." Quinn insisted, hugging Finn. "Welcome home."
