"Noah."
Puck looked at Quinn.
"I know you've done so much for me since my accident, but can I ask you for one more thing?" Quinn requested.
"Of course you can." Puck replied.
"A while ago, you said when I was ready, you would help me get used to driving again." Quinn reminded Puck. "And now that I'm stronger and mostly back to normal, I wanna try."
"Right now?" Puck asked.
"Why not?" Quinn shrugged. "My mom can look after Beth while she's napping."
"Okay." Puck said. "Then sure, whenever you're ready."
"Let's go." Quinn nodded, and she and Puck headed downstairs.
"I'll meet you in the car." Puck decided, leaving Quinn to talk to her mom.
"Can you keep an eye on Beth for, like, half an hour?" Quinn requested. "Noah's gonna take me driving while she naps."
"Sure, sweetheart." Judy smiled as she took the baby monitor from Quinn. "Good luck."
"Thanks." Quinn muttered before walking outside.
Puck was sitting in the passenger seat of his car, so Quinn got in the driver's seat. She buckled her seatbelt and adjusted the mirrors before taking a deep breath.
"Take your time." Puck said.
"I'm good." Quinn promised, gently stepping on the brake and putting the car in drive. She signaled before she hit the gas pedal.
"So far, so good." Puck noted as Quinn continued driving. "How do you feel?"
"Less nervous than I expected." Quinn answered.
"It's just like riding a bike." Puck said. "Or dancing, you know? Like muscle memory."
"Yeah." Quinn agreed, continuing down the street. She took a deep breath. "I know we're just friends, but you've been taking really good care of me, and I don't think I would've gotten through any of this without you."
"You would've." Puck insisted. "But I'm glad I could help you."
"Me, too." Quinn said as she smiled at Puck before looking back at the road.
"Eyes on the road." Puck commanded.
"Noah." Quinn tightened her grip on the steering wheel. "I never apologized to you."
"For what?" Puck asked.
"For putting Beth in a position where she wouldn't have had me." Quinn began. "And for putting you in that position. And for the fight."
"The fight wasn't your fault." Puck shook his head. "If I didn't call you selfish, you wouldn't have been alone."
"I'm glad I was alone." Quinn replied. "And I want you to know that I would never, ever do anything to put Beth's live in danger."
"I know that, Quinn." Puck said.
"I made a mistake, and it was stupid, but I learned my lesson." Quinn noted. "Trust me."
"I trust you." Puck responded. "The most important thing is you're here, and you're getting better."
"I never thanked you either." Quinn continued as she pulled the car over and put it in park.
"Quinn, you don't-"
"You sacrificed so much to help me, and you took on everything with Beth." Quinn interrupted as she looked at Puck. "And I appreciate it. So thank you. She and I are really lucky to have you."
Puck smiled slightly.
"No matter what stupid thing I say or do, you've never given up on me. You never judge me. You're the best dad to our daughter, and I..." Quinn trailed off and bit her lip. "I care about you."
"I care about you, too, Quinn." Puck said. "I mean, why do you think I did all that?"
"For Beth?" Quinn guessed.
"You don't really think that." Puck stated as he looked at Quinn.
Quinn smiled slightly and shook her head. "Not just for Beth."
Puck grinned.
"I wanna be with you."
