"Here."
Quinn eyed the glass in Puck's outstretched hand.
"Piña colada." Puck clarified.
"You drink it." Quinn told him.
"I can't." Puck said.
"Why not?" Quinn asked. "Did you poison it?"
"Very funny." Puck muttered. "Just take it."
Quinn took the glass and looked at Puck as he sat down on the lounge chair beside hers. "Why can't you drink? Are you on some kind of new medication or something?"
"No." Puck shook his head. "I quit."
"You quit?" Quinn asked.
"Drinking." Puck said. "After everything, I just... I don't like who I was when I was drinking, so I talked to my therapist and she agreed that it was a good idea to give it up."
Quinn nodded slowly.
"That's part of what I wanted to talk to you about last night." Puck added. "I can be around it and, like, I can make drinks and stuff, but I won't drink."
"You could've told me." Quinn said.
Puck shook his head. "I wasn't completely sober when I saw you for Beth's birthday, so I didn't say anything."
"Does anybody else know? Do the kids know?" Quinn questioned Puck.
"Santana knows." Puck answered. "I don't want it to be this big deal, you know?"
"Well, I'm proud of you." Quinn told Puck. "That's not an easy thing to do, and I'm glad you made that decision."
"Me, too." Puck agreed.
Quinn sipped her piña colada and looked at Puck. "You wanted to talk about the kids?"
"Yeah." Puck said.
Quinn watched the kids in the pool with Jake. She glanced at Marley and Ruth, who were sitting at one of the tables on the patio under the umbrella.
"I don't want them to think that our shit is their fault or is normal or anything." Puck explained. "So I think we should figure it out."
"It's not that simple." Quinn stated.
"It can be." Puck said.
"No." Quinn shook her head. "Because we can't just sit here and flip a coin to decide if we're gonna get back together or go through with the divorce."
"Right, but we can talk about it." Puck pointed out. "'Cause you can't tell me being here means nothing to you."
"I came here for the girls." Quinn told Puck.
"So you feel nothing being back home?" Puck wondered. "Or being around me?"
"It's not that simple." Quinn said again.
"It is for me." Puck noted. "Because I still love you and I love our kids and our home and our life."
"Does this feel like home to you?" Quinn questioned Puck. "Before yesterday, did it still feel like home?"
"Not without you and the kids." Puck shook his head. "Home isn't home without family."
Quinn bit her lip.
"I know I fucked up." Puck continued. "And I'm working on fixing that, but I don't wanna walk away from everything we have."
"It's not just you and me, Noah." Quinn pointed out. "The kids come before us."
"Yeah." Puck agreed. He paused for a moment. "Do you still love me?"
Quinn looked at Puck.
"Daddy, come swim!" Lucy called.
"Saved by the Puckerman." Puck noted as he excused himself to join everyone in the pool.
