Quinn took a deep breath as she knocked on Jake's apartment door. She chewed on her lip as she waited for an answer.
The door opened and Jake stood there.
"Quinn, hey." Jake smiled. "What a nice surprise. It's been a while."
"Hey, yeah." Quinn agreed. "Is Noah around?"
"I was just on my way out, but why don't you come in and wait for him?" Jake suggested.
"Are you sure?" Quinn wondered.
"Yeah, he should be back any minute." Jake noted.
"Okay." Quinn said, slowly stepping inside. "Jake?"
"Yeah?" Jake asked.
"Can you not tell him I'm here?" Quinn requested. "I really wanna talk to him and I don't want him to not come back if he knows."
Jake nodded slowly.
"Thanks." Quinn nodded back as Jake left, pulling the door shut behind him.
Quinn paced around the apartment, nervously picking at her nails. Every single noise she heard made her anxious for Puck's arrival, until she heard his keys in the door.
Quinn bit her lip as she watched Puck enter.
Puck tossed his things onto the counter and closed the door before pausing when he saw Quinn. He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Jake let me in before he left." Quinn blurted. "I hope that's okay."
"A heads up would've been nice." Puck mumbled, silently cursing his brother.
"I asked him not to tell you because I wanted to see you." Quinn explained. "To talk."
"Oh now you wanna talk?" Puck questioned Quinn. "You didn't want anything to do with me when I came to talk to you."
"What?" Quinn wondered.
"Around Christmas." Puck replied.
"What are you talking about?" Quinn questioned Puck.
"I came to see you two months ago." Puck explained. "Santana told me you weren't interested."
"Santana?" Quinn repeated, furrowing her eyebrows. "She never told me about that."
Puck shrugged.
"You really came to see me?" Quinn asked.
"I wanted to fix things between us." Puck nodded.
"And now?" Quinn wondered.
"It's been two months, Q." Puck stated. "I thought you weren't interested."
"I didn't know about that." Quinn said.
"You didn't come to see me." Puck pointed out.
"Because I thought you didn't care." Quinn replied.
"I do." Puck admitted.
"I do, too." Quinn said softly. "And I'm sorry."
"Me, too." Puck nodded.
"I don't like not talking to you." Quinn added.
"Yeah, do you have anywhere to be or do you have time to catch up a little?" Puck wondered.
"I have some time." Quinn answered.
"Okay, good." Puck said. "Wanna sit and I'll grab beers?"
"Waters." Quinn corrected Puck, taking a seat on the couch.
Puck went into the kitchen and grabbed water bottles before returning to Quinn. He put them down and pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket.
"What's that?" Quinn wondered, eyeing the paper.
"A list of all the stuff that happened the past three months that I didn't wanna forget to tell you." Puck smirked.
"Really?" Quinn giggled.
"Really." Puck confirmed.
Quinn grinned and made herself comfortable on the couch. "Go ahead."
