"That creep has been staring at us for too long." Santana said. "I'm going over there."

Quinn watched as Santana walked over to the group of guys in front of the New Directions. One of the guys wrapped his arm over Santana's shoulder, pulling her closer to whisper in his ear.

Finn and Puck immediately swooped in and went over to the group. Santana didn't need to be rescued, but they were protective of her.

Santana walked back over to the girls, leaving Finn and Puck with the guys.

"What happened?" Rachel asked.

"They wanted to know which one of the hot bitches over here was single." Santana answered.

"They said that?" Mercedes wondered.

"They said it exactly like that." Santana nodded. "I told them we're all taken."

"Which is mostly true." Rachel noted, looking at Mercedes and Quinn.

"Don't look at me." Mercedes said, turning to Quinn.

"You guys still aren't together?" Tina asked Quinn.

"It's complicated." Quinn answered.

Before any of the girls could go on, Finn and Puck started getting physical with the other guys.

"Noah!" Quinn yelled, hurrying over with Santana right behind her just as Puck swung at the guy, punching him in the face.

Security ran over and pried the guys apart.

"You're out of here."

"Are you kidding me?" Puck responded.

"Puck, let's just go." Finn said softly.

"Not until those guys go." Puck shook his head. "Did you hear what they were saying about the girls?"

"Puck, go." Santana commanded. "Don't make a scene, okay?"

"Fine." Puck gave in. "Come on, Q."

"I'm gonna stay." Quinn decided.

"What?" Puck asked.

"I'm gonna stay." Quinn repeated.

"Seriously?" Puck questioned Quinn.

"I'm having fun." Quinn shrugged. "And I'm not the one who got kicked out."

"I got kicked out 'cause I was defending you." Puck stated.

"I didn't ask you to do that." Quinn pointed out.

"Did you hear what that guy said?" Puck asked. "He said something about how your ass jiggles when you dance. He was watching you."

"But he didn't do anything." Quinn said.

"Still." Puck muttered. "You're gonna stay?"

"I rarely get a night out like this." Quinn stated. "So I'm gonna stay and enjoy it."

"Fine." Puck responded. "Have a good time. I'll see you at home."

-

"Blondie."

Quinn turned and looked at the guy standing in front of her. He was at least a decade older than her and balding.

"Let me buy you a drink."

"I'm good." Quinn said, holding up her cup.

"How about the next one then?"

"No, thank you." Quinn shook her head.

"Playing hard to get, huh? I get it."

"I'm kind of with someone else." Quinn stated, though it wasn't completely true.

"Is he here?"

"He..." Quinn trailed off as Finn walked over to her. "Hey."

"Hey." Finn smiled as he put his arm around Quinn and pulled her away.

"Thanks." Quinn muttered.

"Sure." Finn said. "You okay?"

"Yeah." Quinn replied. "But I think I'm gonna go."

"Already?" Finn asked.

"I know." Quinn nodded slowly. "I'm sorry, but I should get home and check on Beth and Noah."

"You sure that can't wait 'til morning?" Finn wondered.

"I can't get it out of my head, so I should just go deal with it now." Quinn shrugged.

"One more shot and then I'll get you a cab." Finn offered.

"One more."

-

Quinn was surprised to find Puck awake when she returned.

"Hey."

"Hey." Puck muttered.

"I'm glad you're still up." Quinn said. "We should talk."

Puck sat up on the couch, making room for Quinn.

Quinn sat down and looked at him. "I appreciate you looking out for me."

"But?" Puck asked.

"But you don't have to do that." Quinn continued. "We're not together."

"We live together." Puck responded. "We have a baby together."

"Is that what this is about?" Quinn questioned Puck.

"What else would it be?" Puck wondered.

"Jealousy." Quinn shrugged.

Puck didn't say anything.

"We agreed that our situation works because we're not together." Quinn reminded Puck. "But we also agreed if one of us wants more, we'll be honest."

Puck nodded slowly.

"Do you?" Quinn blurted. "Want more?"
