"Hey." Quinn began. "I wanna talk to you."
"Okay." Puck furrowed his eyebrows. "About what?"
"Beth." Quinn answered.
"No." Puck shook his head. "You and I haven't talked since she was born and now you wanna talk about her?"
"Will you just shut up and listen to me? You'll wanna hear this." Quinn insisted.
"Okay, fine, what?" Puck questioned Quinn.
"I've been doing some research." Quinn began. "About adoptions."
Puck nodded slowly.
"Some states have laws where the birthmother can change her mind up to a year after giving up the baby." Quinn explained.
"Does Ohio?" Puck asked, hopeful.
"No, but Ohio does have laws about who can consent to an adoption." Quinn stated. "And you and I were both minors at the time of Beth's birth."
"Which means?" Puck wondered.
"Which means that the lawyers can argue that she wasn't ours to give away." Quinn explained.
"Lawyers?" Puck repeated. "What lawyers?"
"Noah." Quinn said, smiling slightly. "My mom can get her back for us."
