"Puckerman! How was your summer break?"
"Yeah, where have you been, dude?"
"Working." Puck answered. "And taking care of the baby."
"Isn't that what Quinn's for?"
"What?" Puck asked.
"Taking care of the baby."
"Quinn spent half the summer recovering from childbirth." Puck explained. "And she looks after the baby while I'm working."
"I saw her this morning. She looks like a total milf."
"Yeah, how many times a week do you get to hit that?"
"Shut up. And stay away from her." Puck commanded as the bell rang. He slammed his locker shut and headed to class.

"Hey." Puck said, walking over to Quinn at lunch.
"Hey." Quinn repeated. "I just called my mom. Beth's doing really well."
"Good." Puck responded. "That's good."
"Yeah." Quinn agreed.
"What about you? How are you doing being away from her?" Puck questioned Quinn.
"I'm okay." Quinn shrugged. "I feel a little guilty not being there, but it's kind of nice to have something else again. Plus, I've missed glee club."
Puck nodded.
"What about you?" Quinn wondered. "Are you glad to be back?"
"Other than football and glee club, not really." Puck shrugged. "People are acting weird."
"Weird how?" Quinn asked.
"No one's said anything to you?" Puck asked.
"To me, no." Quinn answered. "But I've had some stares and heard a few whispers."
"And you don't care?" Puck questioned Quinn.
"No one can treat me worse than they did last year." Quinn shrugged. "Why are you asking me about this? Did someone say something to you?"
"No." Puck lied. "I just wanted to make sure you're good."
"I am." Quinn promised.
"Well, if that changes, let me know who I have to beat up." Puck requested.
Quinn smiled slightly. "Thanks, Noah."
