    "Hey." Finn smiled as he greeted Quinn with a kiss by her locker.
    "Hey." Quinn said softly.
    "What's wrong?" Finn asked.
    "Nothing." Quinn shook her head.
    "Okay." Finn muttered. "Then do you wanna come over after glee club?"
    "Okay." Quinn repeated.
    "Okay." Finn said again. "Ready?"
    Quinn nodded.
    Finn took Quinn's hand, and the pair headed to the choir room together. They took their seats near the back where they could blend in and observe the others.
    "Alright, guys." Mr. Schue began the lesson.

    "Quinn." Finn called, following her out of the choir room.
    Quinn continued walking.
    "Quinn, I can't be with you when you're like this." Finn blurted.
     The blonde abruptly stopped in her tracks, almost causing Finn to bump into her.
    Quinn put a smile on her face as she turned around to face Finn. "Like what?"
    "Like this." Finn repeated. "Just talk to me."
    Quinn glanced at Puck as he walked past with Santana and Brittany, completely oblivious to her and Finn.
    "Oh." Finn realized. "This is about Puck. You know I thought after everything, you would-"
    "This isn't about Puck." Quinn cut Finn off before walking away again.
    "Quinn." Finn sighed. "I'm sorry. Just tell me why you're upset."
    "Do you know what today is?" Quinn asked Finn as she looked at him.
    "Uh... Wednesday?" Finn smirked.
    "Today's Beth's birthday." Quinn said.
    Finn frowned.
    "It's her first one and all year I've been going through the motions, but... I think what's been missing all along is her." Quinn told Finn. "I don't get to be with her or see any of her milestones or anything."
    Finn bit his lip, not knowing what to say.
    "I feel so bad today that I almost went to talk to Puck about it, but then I saw that he's completely fine and it just made everything worse." Quinn added, tears filling her eyes. "How can he be so okay?"
    "I'm sorry." Finn apologized, pulling Quinn into his arms. "It's gonna be okay. You're gonna get over it."
    Quinn pushed Finn away and furrowed her eyebrows. "Over it?"
    "You're gonna get through this." Finn promised.
    "You know what? Maybe I should go talk to Puck. At least he knows how to make me feel better."
    "Quinn."
