Author's POV

Sunlight filtered through the curtains. Ayansh's eyes fluttered open as he stirred awake. His hand reached for his wife and his eyes snapped open as he found the bed empty. "Isha?", his voice was hoarse with sleep as he sat up and called out for her. He blinked and rubbed his eyes. His vision cleared and he saw the small piece of paper lying on her pillow. Slowly he picked it up.

Good morning my dear husband

A small smile touched his lips.

I, your ever loving wife, have taken the liberty to clear out your schedule. So get your handsome ass out of bed, take a bath and wear the clothes I have put out for you.

He looks around the room and finds clothes laid out for him on the couch. A simple white shirt and pants. His eyes flicker down to the note in his hands

Skip breakfast and meet me at the place where-

A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he got out of bed. He kept repeating the words in his mind while quickly freshening up. Coming out of the bathroom freshly showered he walked towards the couch and wore the clothes. 'Use me', a note said that was laid before a brand new bottle of perfume.

Ignoring the questions of his family he hurried out of the house and into his car.

He repeated the words in his mind as he started the car. What could it be? He kept thinking as he drove out of the gates.

The smile on his face widened as he drove in the direction of his destination.

Ayansh's POV

The car comes to a stop. I quickly ensure that I have parked it properly and hurry out. Excitement buzzes through my veins as I look around. The shops are still opening. Some are still closed. It is pretty early. 

Where are you Isha?

There she was. Sitting at the same bench where we sat all those nights ago- sharing our first kiss. Just this time, the ice cream place isn't open yet. She smiles and gets up as I reach her. God can this woman look any more beautiful? It was a simple dress really. A kurta set. But the way it clung to her made her look even more exquisite. Turquoise is the colour I think. Thanks to my wife I now know the names of certain colours that look the same to my eyes but are actually very different.
