Aurora, Crosshair, Wrecker, and Rampart waited below. Hunter came down the elevator shaft and Aurora gladly walked up to him.
"Not gonna lie, I am nervous." Aurora told him.
"We'll get through this." Hunter rested his hand on her side before they walked up to the others. "We'll be exiting hyperspace soon.
"The base's scanners will detect us once we're on approach." Rampart informed them.
"Then we'll detach from the science vessel's hull before then and infiltrate on foot." Hunter stated.
"The jungle is deadly." Crosshair added.
"Yes, exactly." Rampart agreed. "At least listen to him."
"Then I'm glad you're here to guide us." Aurora looked at Crosshair.
"Well how is Echo gonna get off that ship?" Wrecker asked.
"He'll find a way." Hunter said.
"He better." Aurora nodded.
An alarm started beeping. Hunter looked at it and put his helmet on. "Get into position."

Stuck in the science vessel, Echo was pulling a stunned trooper out of sight and into a storage closet. He dropped the clone and moved back to the comm-computer and plugged into the system. He started to look at the manifest but he heard footsteps on approach. He unplugged and ran back into the storage closet.

The science vessel exited hyperspace. Aurora stayed with Wrecker and Rampart down below while Crosshair and Hunter went to the bridge.
"Disengaging." Hunter said to Crosshair. The ship successfully detached but not a moment later an alarm was blaring overhead. "Multiple fighters inbound."
"That's not a standard formation." Crosshair pointed out. "They're expecting us."
Hunter steered the ship downwards. The fighters followed behind them. Hunter maneuvered around the blaster fire from the oncoming ships. Cannon fire shook the ship. One of the wings got hit in the process.
Down below Aurora closed her eyes. "I'm really starting to hate flying." She grumbled. She, Wrecker, and Rampart were strapped in seats.
"Hang on!" Hunter yelled over the comms.
The ship was hit some more. Rapid beeping echoed throughout the ship. "We're gonna die aren't we, Wrecker?" Aurora asked.
"We're gonna be... fine. We're gonna be fine." Wrecker said to both Aurora and himself.
"Wrecker, prep the rappel cables." Hunter ordered into the comms, Rampart missing the conversation.
"The what?" Aurora looked at Wrecker.
Wrecker pulled his helmet down. "On it."
"On it?" Rampart questioned. "On what?"
Wrecker got up and Aurora followed. He walked over to Rampart and pulled his safety bar up. "You don't wanna know."
"Trust him." Aurora said. "I wish I didn't know."
Hunter and Crosshair got down from the bridge and everyone strapped themselves a rappel cable. "What do you expect me to do?" Rampart asked.
"Try not to hit anything on the way down." Hunter said.
The floor opened up and Rampart stepped back. "Whoa! You've got to be kidding!"
"He's not." Aurora said and attached a cable to herself.
"Lines ready." Wrecker said. He, Crosshair, and Aurora jumped off first. Wrecker of course, laughing the whole way down. They hit twigs on the way down and all together they unhooked their cables and rolled on the surface of the planet. Everyone looked up as the shuttle was shot some more and exploded into the jungle.
