river pov:

its finally billies birthday 18th of december, shes turning 16 which will make her older than me but only for two month

my birthday is 20th of february

well to catch you up we packed most of the house its just my dads room to go, we left it till last as it has the least in

we have been busy going to charities and donating stuff that i didnt need or want anymore

its currently 11pm and billie had fallen asleep at 9 watching the office with me, i decided to go downstairs and help them with her stuff

billie didnt want much but i did get her a little something, i got her silver ring just a plain one but it was $64.99 but i had savings

once we had finished i decided to go up and see claudia and finneas "hey marlow" "im bored" they laugh and claudia gestures for me to lay next to her

"river please dont steal my girlfriend" we all laugh hysterically "watch your back fin" i wink at claudia and she playfully winked back, i didnt mind finneas joking around because him and claudia knew its nothing against billie

its just scary you know? admitting you have feelings for your childhood bestfriend

around 2 hours had passed and before i knew it i felt my self on claudias stomach being woken up, finneas was carrying me to bed

hes like the brother i always wanted, i was the only child in my household so finneas was the closest i had to a sibling which i loved, he always looked after me

when finneas left the room i decided to scroll through instagram and see i had gained a few thousand followers? i mean billie did post me and her on instagram

to fall asleep i decided to watch friends but i got to interested and by the time i got sleepy it was 4am

jeez time flys by when your excited normally it drags but i think its because i got bills a present

billie pov:

i check my phone and its 10am i look over at river she looks so cosy i dont want to disturb her, i head downstairs

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" everyone shouts

and obviously claudia is more excited than me she hugs me, everyone is here which made me happy but the day wasnt so exciting

i didnt know i was going to make it to 16 so for me to actually be here i amazed my self i opened all the gifts everyone got me and i loved each one

after i was done i realised there was one left a little box with the note 'from you fav green eyed, river' i giggled at the note and i opened it

the silver ring i told her about months ago, my heart warmed she did this for me and i was so grateful

my mom made me a bean burrito my favourite, i gave her a hug and thanked her same with my dad and me drew and zoe headed out, i didnt want to wake river as i did hear finneas bring her in at 2am

and her phone went quiet at like 4:30am so ill let her sleep

me drew and zoe just went for a car drive as they are my favourite we all sang ocean eyes which made me happy that my friends supported me

and we just sat the rocks talking and then drew said "billie i have a boy to match you up if your not seeing anyone" maybe this could help me get over river

"ill think about it drew" we giggle

river pov:

fuck its 2pm i shoot up and race downstairs to see no billie but everyone else "wheres billie?"

"she left with zoe and drew a couple hours ago she wanted you to have your beauty sleep" i scoff "i dont need beauty sleep" and everyone laughs "wait so i missed her opening my present?"

"she loved it though she put it on straight away and her words 'im never taking this off'" i smile and sit next to finneas

the door opens and its billie zoe drew "your awake" billie says smiling i hug her and see finneas and claudia look at each other

i roll my eyes at fin and claudia and hug the others "weve missed you rivvy" rivvy? i havent heard that since my dad passed

"ive missed you guys too" i try to push it off but it stuck with me

we have gossip come on "well it was nice seeing you all" i giggle to maggie and patrick as the girls pull me up the stairs while billie sits with her family

"so i found a boy for billie" my heart sank "ooo show me him" im trying my hardest to act happy but i wanted billie but i was also scared to tell drew and zoe because i know they would tell billie and what would she think?

"hes cute" his name is noah and hes 17 "billie is into me older guys she told me" drew spits looking at me, its like she knows but she doesnt

billie walks in "heyyyy birthday girllll" zoe says,  i wont lie ive always liked zoe more than drew i just feel like drew didnt like me

we just talked more and drew gave billie noahs instagram and number, yeah his name is noah he plays football you know? classic boy ew.

WILL BILLIE DO IT?
will river move on too? or will she be stuck if billie gets with this noah boy
