my heads pounding, i look at my clock and see im late, "shit" i say jumping up
rambling for clothes searching through every box to find my corset top and jeans
i pull them out shoving it all on so fast, brushing my teeth as i brushed my hair, grabbing my laptop and note books running to my class
"marlow your late" mr baxson spat "sorry sir" "take a seat anywhere" he spoke as he continued to write notes on the board
i sat next to olivia and copied her first bit of notes down "thanks" i smile and continued to listen
until my phone pings
'hey what you doing?'
billie pov:
"i feel like im losing my mind" i say to finneas "we facetimed and then she fell asleep? we have hardly spoken" i say running my hands through my hair
"billie shes in uni, she learns and i bet its tiring, she will speak to you when shes got spare time" he says
'im just in class right now, olivia says hi'
olivia?
'whos olivia?'
'shes my new friend, shes a fan of yours'
'tell her i said hi and could we ft later? i miss your pretty voice'
'of course bills i miss you too'
i smile and put my phone down and begin playing tunes with finneas
river pov:
"your looking at me like im see-through olivia" i laugh "yeah you dont look to well" i mean my head was really hurting this morning but its nothing
"i think im just home sick, ive never really been apart from anyone especially not this far" i say taking out more clothes from my boxes and putting them in our shared closet
she begun to come closer to my laptop "wow thats alot of writing" she giggles "im like 25 chapters in" i laughed
"when the blue crashed with green, cute" she says "thanks"
after i had finished putting my stuff away she started on hers, she put on some music so i decided to write some more stuff before my phone buzzed

shit i forgot to facetime billie
i ft her and she answered almost immediately "hey" i say "how was your day" i ask
"meh, we worked on some more lyrics and tunes nothing interesting but shark misses you" she giggles "i miss him too ugh" i throw my head back
"so your day?" "i mean i was late to my first class but i got the notes i needed it actually gave me a few ideas for a new chapter"
"how many chapters is this book going to have marlow" she giggled "how ever long the story lasts" i wink and she looked confused
"youll understand when you read it" i say as i hear shark bark "hey babyyyyy" i say as billie puts him on the camera
tilting his head to the sound of my voice, god i miss my home "hey so im going to write some more chapters and then head to sleep we could call tomorrow yeah?"
"of course goodnight baby, i love you"

"billie hasnt read your story?" i giggled to see a rather confused olivia
"its about me and her why would i let her read it unfinished? billies impatient she would want to know more when there hasnt been more"
i giggled and let my eyes start to close as olivia studied with faint music, making me drift off

"river?" i heard lightly "yeah" "its 9:15" she smiled
"oh thanks" i say sitting up, looking around before heading to the bathroom, washing my face and turning on my curlers
lets make an effort today
sitting on the stool infront of my mirror "how does this look" olivia says holding up a pair of baggy jeans and baby blue t "cute" i smile as she headed to the bathroom
i caught of a glimpse of her tattoo, it was a dove with a name i couldnt see as it was faded
she walked back into the room "hey so weird i know but whats your tattoo" she smiled and sat next to me as she straightened her hair
"my dad passed in 2017" she says "oh im sorry" "its fine" "i actually lost my dad, so i know exactly how you feel"
"you did?" "yeah, new fact for you" i smiled
she smiled back, and we headed to class together, we spoke alot that lesson and got to know each other a little more which was nice
its crazy how something can bring two people so close, i mean trauma bonding? its insane to me, maybe i shouldve studied science
