Louis, did in fact get back together with Delilah. When she showed she wanted commitment, they got married. Delilah was glad to be back with her family.
The two never had kids, but instead Louis taught Delilah his ways of putting down the book and having fun. Soon, Delilah became the female version of Louis.
They played pranks on everyone in the house.
They sometimes babysit the many kids when the others are busy, and it's quite a hanful. But they love it.
