"So I was thinking," Hitoshi said slowly, "You acted almost normal at Hero training." We were sitting on the bus to school."I did?" I grinned, "Hey, maybe I did!"
"And in the cafeteria you've been able to focus pretty well."
"Kinda, yeah."
"And at home the effect... you see what I mean?"
"It's the classroom," I nodded slowly.
"Exactly! Maybe someone has catnip or something."
"What?" I frowned, "You mean to say I've accidentally been drugged every—"
"Just a theory."
We texted Aizawa about the theory and we grinned at the idea of Aizawa asking the class to 'please not take catnip to class as this is actually drugs for one of his students'.
We arrived only to pause.
The UA building rose up further up the street, but our eyes were on the crowd."There's people." Hitoshi stared with great dislike.
Indeed, there were reporters in front of the school, trying to question students."A few," I tried to sound cheerful, "Well just pass like we're not students at school."
"The uniform will betray us."
"True..." I sighed, thinking of how Shinso was gonna pass. I couldn't change him into a cat, unlike myself. "This is hopeless."
The crowd saw us and we broke into a run, pushing reporters aside. I turned into a cat at one point and Hitoshi caught my clothes as though this was *cough* practiced in idk *couch* multiple occasions over the summer.
"We made it!" Hitoshi said a bit too cheerfully when we passed the gate. He put me on the ground and immediately I turned to my tail which had fluffed up at the horror of the situation. Hitoshi grinned at my actions, and I realised I was too cat like again.
"Should we walk to some changing rooms?" Hitoshi asked and I mewed, climbing back on his shoulder.
"Stop doing that."
Once you stop looking weird. You're talking to a cat, mate."Hey! Shinso, right?" Someone else jumped from the crowd, "Is that your cat?" It was a red haired guy from our class. His hair was sticking up a little, different from Hitoshi's hair though.
"Huh?" Hitoshi gave them a weird look, "That's (y/n)."
"...oh!" The red haired guy's widened, "She can turn into a cat, right!"
"And you are?" Hitoshi asked coldly.
"Kirishima! Nice to meet you!"
"Tsk," Hitoshi put his hands in his pockets and walked away, two bags slung over his shoulders. I put my paws on his head as we walked, trying to get higher.
Only in the classroom Hitoshi threw me on the ground. He shoved my bag inside and gave me a look.
My tail swished behind me.
"Change back," Hitoshi told me.
Glaring at him, I felt my tail swishing. These weren't changing rooms! Though I knew I wouldn't need them technically...
Wait... I actually felt very comfortable in this form.Hold on...
I felt...
Dizzy.
No I felt great!
But also confused...My eyes scrolled the room. My nose caught the scent and my pupils widened.
So good! I needed that.
