The late night streets were empty.Four cat paws traveled from here to there, not realising how much time went by while they were gone.
I didn't realise it, anyway.
It was worth the long walk when I saw some purple light coming from an alley.
Somehow it was comforting, like a kind greeting.
"Mrew." I tried to get the portal's attention. Two eyes turned to me before the portal took form."Do you wish to visit a friend?"
A friend...?
I felt my tail perk up. I nodded very human like and the portal nodded in turn. Kurogiri made me a gateway to the familiar villain lair.
I walked to the couch tiredly. Shigaraki saw me and huffed.
Without an invite I j́umped his lap, finally closing my eyes to rest.I much preferred the smell of blood over the smell of medicine and bandages.
A hand touched the fur on my head and I purred softly."Let's keep her."
Sleep took me at last.
—
"Where is she!?"
"How should I know!?"
Mic and Nemuri were panicked.
"Calm down," Hitoshi said, "She's either in the cafeteria, the kitchens more specifically, or she's out being a vigilante."
"She's got school today!" Mic shouted panicked.
"They got the day off," Midnight said suddenly, "I'm sure she's alright. How about you check the cafeteria, ask some staff and I'll actually solve the situation."
"Yeah sounds— wait what?"
"Go check the kitchens," Hitoshi suggested and Mic left, rubbing his tired eyes. How did Aizawa manage this parenting thing?
When Mic was gone Midnight turned to Hitoshi.
"Where should we go?""I know her patrol route. There's a number of people we can ask, but I doubt we'll find her with ease."
"I know she's a cat and all, but how good can she be at hiding?" Midnight confidently zipped up her jacket, ready to go outside to look for (y/n).
"Aizawa has trouble finding her a lot."
Midnight frowned and stopped getting ready.
"Oh."
She grabbed her phone and typed in a number, "You should have said that before, we need all hands on deck!""You're gonna call heroes?" Hitoshi wondered.
"What's her patrol route? Near your apartment?"
"Yeah about there."
"I'll call Hawks!"
"The number two!?"
"She's not in the kitchens," Mic came back.
If Aizawa was awake he'd sigh at all of them as they headed out to look for the cat.
But in the meanwhile she lazily woke up, very well hidden.
Spoiler alert, they won't find her there.—
"What's the password?" I asked Shigaraki as I stood in front of the door.
He grumbled something into the couch, not awake very much yet as his coffee lay nearly forgotten on the table next to him. Kurogiri didn't stop me... though I knew it was smarter not to chug the coffee.
