A day passed and then I was sitting in the library.

My eyes were on my book as I read a sentence.

No comprendo was all I could get from the sentence, making me reread it over and over again, because Spanish wasn't a language I was fluent in.
Also, this was English I was trying to read, so... it didn't exactly add up...

My thoughts trailed off to the previous evening.

"What are you doing here? Stupid cat?" Shigaraki called out as he paused his attack.

I stopped by the door, tilting my head.
"Who're these people?"

"Mind introducing yourself first?" Some burned guy said. He had literal scars and bandages across his body... though somehow he made them look cool with piercings or whatever they were.

"Yeah, I mind," I huffed, "Anyway, Shigaraki, should I come back later?"

"Whatever," Shigaraki said, "Just go sit somewhere and shut up."

Kurogiri gave me a polite nod as I walked in and closed the door behind me. Confusedly I looked at the three strangers. One was about my age, though her eyes told me she had a bit more experience in villain stuff.

The third person sighed and stopped leaning against the wall. He said evil stuff, trying to sell the two people as though they were his.

"Oi! Are you paying attention?"

I frowned.
"Hold on, let me think."

"Is she your cat or something?"

"I'm (y/n)," I smiled, "Nice to meet—"

Shigaraki didn't let me finish. He gave the crispy guy a sharp glare and held up his hands threateningly.
"You don't get to talk to her." He growled.

"Hey, don't I get to choose for myself?" I complained.

"Can I talk to her?" The teenage girl asked, "Or drink her blood! I want to hug her, to touch her kitten ears and to kill her!"

"What the fuck." The burned guy said and I couldn't help but to think he was right.

"Anyway," I put one hand on the counter and did a trick where I jumped and changed mid air, landing on the counter as a cat. Kurogiri took the cue and hid me from the strangers a little.

"She is a cat!" Toga grinned, "I love her cute little—"

"Shut up!" Shigaraki said, "You guys aren't good enough for my team—"

"At least consider," the third guy said.

"No, all I hear is about stupid stain and his stupid believes!! What's so great about that guy anyway!?"

"Hey!" I got a hit on my head, my thoughts escaping me once more.
"How do you expect to get a hundred percent on your exams if you keep on dozing off!!"

"Fuck off," I muttered, swatting Bakugo's face away. I picked up my pencil and returned to the sentence.

"Where'd he go?" I muttered to myself. A small meow was what others heard though. My cat paws walked over the evening street. It was wet tonight. Not a heavy rain, just a thick drizzle.

Slowly my paws paused when I found him sitting on a bench.
I could smell it. Sadness. Dorothy told me how to recognise it, and now that I could, I didn't like the smell of it at all.

Jumping on the bench, I scratched my paws against the metal softly, letting Shigaraki know I was there.
He sighed.

"Go away."
