44: Stupid Cat

I got pushed to the side along with all the other students. Aizawa was pushed in my arms and All Might told us to leave.
Rude, thinking he can deal with this on his own.

My tail swished behind me.
"Bakugo," I said, "You and me will help in the fight, the others can bring Aizawa to safety."

"I can fight—" Hitoshi protested.

"Idiot, we need you to help Aizawa," I scolded.

"I can fight too—" Kirishima said.

"They'll attack," I said, "And you'll fend them off, okay?"

Kirishima nodded dutifully before the group headed off. Hitoshi managed to send me a weak glare though.

Bakugo grinned and pounded his fists. "Let's beat some ass!"

"Heh, yeah," I put my hands to the ground, ready to pounce.

With Kurogiri stuck, All Might could fight the Nomu. Or that's what Shigaraki called the monster, a Nomu.
It was designed just for All Might, speed, strength and regeneration. All Might clearly needed out help with the other villains!

"You!" Shigaraki glared at me.

"You!" I returned the glare.

Shigaraki just huffed and crossed his arms. Nobody was fighting him, and honestly, I hesitated because he didn't start.

"So like," I walked up to him lazily, "If I fight you, would you hate me, cause, hero stuff?"

"Why would a hero like you care?" Shigaraki said, "stupid cat."

My ear twitched.
"What?"

"We never meant any harm, but still you ran."

My tail swished behind me.
"You can't kidnap someone..."

"We let you leave," Shigaraki said, "But you didn't come back—"

"Fine, fine," I held up my hands, "I'll visit sometime, but you gotta let me fight you right now. We gotta at least pretend to hate each other."

"What's taking so long!?" Bakugo called out.

"I'm having an in-depth conversation!" I called back before Shigaraki attacked.

He didn't use his quirk and it quickly became a sparing match as wind pushed as aside from All Might's attacks.

"Good fight," Shigaraki said when the Nomu flew away. He looked at it and I saw the chance.

I knocked him over and he called out.

"Bitch!"

"Who are you calling a dog here!?"
I pounded on him, accidentally turning into a cat.
A mew must have left me because Shigaraki actually, genuinely laughed as I stood kinda shocked.
Oops.

"Kurogiri, let's take our leave," Shigaraki said, "It's game over for us."

I hissed at him.

Shigaraki reached down, I bit his hand and he paused.

"This doesn't mean you're not visiting, stupid cat."

He hurried away. The doors burst open and a bunch of heroes came to the rescue. I looked at my cloak and decided I was tired. I watched as Shigaraki got shot while I sat down on my cloak, making myself a cat loaf before I decided to put my paws at the ready.

Bakugo was walking up to me.
"What the hell was that?" He asked me.

"What was what?"

"Don't fucking growl at me!!"
