A/n: Quick chapter! Don't worry, there won't be much short ones, this is an exception. I hope you don't hate it. 🧇
My head was lying on Mic's leg. My cat body wasn't purring, just lying there.
Aizawa had to go on patrol, so that left me with Mic. Hitoshi was making homework in his room, what a nerd.
Mic looked down at me with a sad look.
"If you want to talk—"I got up and moved away.
Mic let me, though his look got only sadder.
Instead of staying I just headed to my room.
I turned back, feeling stupid for even trying to seek some comfort. They hated me, right?Slowly I put on some decent clothes before I paused.
The scars on my arm didn't look very fresh.I grabbed a knife, deciding that that was the least I deserved after my catnip adventure.
Blood coated my arm and fingers once I washed the knife. I put my arm under the water, feeling the familiar sting.
I tried to feel satisfied, but the smile felt horrible on my lips. My cat ears appeared and showed me how sad I was.See how useless I was? I hadn't even bothered with Homework.
After hiding everything I walked to Hitoshi's room. I got a glance from Mic as he stared at the tv. He still looked sad.
I should stop existing already."Hey," Hitoshi said when I walked in, "Knock next time."
I turned into a cat, jumping on his notebook.
He gave me a look and I jumped onto his lap, hiding under the desk. The notebook seemed like a beter place but...Hitoshi ignored me completely and continued what he was doing.
Slowly I fell asleep, a soft purr escaping me.—
"Where's (y/n)?"
"Here," Hitoshi pushed his chair back, making me visible on his lap.
Aizawa nodded. "When she wakes up tomorrow tell her I want a word with her."
"She won't talk," Hitoshi hummed, "She's stubborn."
Rolling his eyes, Aizawa leaned against he doorframe. "How would you make sure she's okay then?"
"Let her come to you," Shinso said, "Obviously."
"Parenting is a mystery, I finally know what they mean."
Hitoshi rolled his eyes. He knew he shouldn't complain, but Aizawa had no idea what he was doing here.
Either way, he knew he had to take care of (y/n) for now. As a sibling.
How bothersome, he hadn't fought this would have come from those insults he had thrown back at the orphanage, but it did. He was kinda thankful, but also...The cat on his lap would wake up if he moved. He sighed and put her on his bed. Such a bothersome cat.
Hitoshi loved her, don't get him wrong, but he so hated her.
That's called being siblings, he realised. How bothersome.
