"I'm not hungry," I muttered as I sat at the dinner table."You've got to eat," Aizawa told me, "Hero training today."
I shrugged, "I'll eat at lunch time, it's fine."
The morning was early. Hitoshi hadn't had a lot of sleep so he was arguing with Mic about that a while off. The Aizawa apartment was awake despite my sleepiness.
"It's not fine," Aizawa said before he grabbed a oven glove thing and threw it at Mic. "Stop shouting!"
"Your child needs to sleep!"
"He's your child too. Deal with it quietly." Aizawa then glared at me. "Eat or I'll have you skip training."
"I... I can't get food through my throat." I said annoyedly. Why wouldn't he just get it?
"Okay then." Aizawa grabbed his phone, "I'll tell All Might you won't be there."
"Dad!" I hissed.
"How about we switch children," Mic said patiently, "You go lecture Hitoshi, I'll deal with (y/n)."
"Hitoshi," I got up, "This is our chance to run!"
Without warning Hitoshi actually did run. We ran out the door and laughed.
"Wait, my uniform!" Hitoshi called out, "We have to get back!"
"This calls for an old trick," I said gravely, "We have to use the window."
"We're too many floors up!" Shinso said dramatically.
"Hitoshi," I said softly, "Sometimes you have got to take the risk—"
The front door opened to reveal Aizawa.
"Arg!!" Both me and Hitoshi shouted.
"Dorothy is my favourite child now." Aizawa closed the door but paused, "And don't go through the window, use the damn front door."
We stood there, dumbfounded for a moment.
"Which one was the favourite before?" I wondered aloud.
"Me obviously," Hitoshi said.
"I've got cat ears though..." I made them appear.
"You're always difficult," Hitoshi shrugged smugly, "I stand by it, I am the favourite."
"No you're not," I grumbled, "Sleepless idiot!"
While we bickered we walked into the apartment again.
Before we left Aizawa forced me to eat something. I felt sick from the whole catnip thing still. Eating didn't help it at all.
At school me and Hitoshi continued our argument.
Obviously I would be the favourite... though Hitoshi had a good few points."What are you guys arguing about?" Pink monstrosity said— don't get me wrong, it was someone by the name Mina and she looked like an alien. Her eyes especially, but she was so cheerful which earned her the name.
"We're wondering who's the favourite child," I said, "I bet it's me!"
"Oh, so you're siblings," Mina said with a smile, "I never would have guessed."
"Adopted," Hitoshi muttered.
I gave him a slight glare. "Way to drop that truth."
"Hey! You already dropped—"
"Quiet down!" Iida shouted, "Take a seat!"
"Why's he shouting?"
Hitoshi's eyes widened. "You've missed like, all of it!"
