"I shouldn't drink coffee, and being stressed and tired is not an excuse." Aizawa had me write on the board a hundred and seven times. There was a robot counting out loud, letting me know how slow I really was.The classroom was empty other than that.
"(Y/n)," Iida said when he saw me thst morning.
I looked at the clock.
"You're a little early," I said slowly. A lot early. Embarrassingly early, why do I have to get caught in this position?Iida smiled. "A good UA student should be... blah blah blah."
I rolled my eyes, of course it was about that. Maybe be and Hitoshi caused him to be this early, when in the past we got here just before him.
Whatever, I had a job to complete before more people could trickle in.Aizawa came walking in for Homeroom. He looked at me, and then to the board which was fuller with writing, much to my embarrassment. People knew what had happened, they knew! They knew I had had detention, in the morning.
As I hid my face, Aizawa nodded and turned to the class.
"So I lied," he said, "You're all going to camp."
Fuck that, fuck everything, I want coffee.
—
"Let's go shopping!" Uraraka had her face pressed close to me.
I put my whole hand over her face, pushing her back softly.
"No thanks.""Oh, come on," Kaminari leaned against my desk, "You and Hitoshi both have to come."
Slowly my eyes trailed off towards Hitoshi. Hitoshi who had a crush on Kaminari, yes. But also Hitoshi who was now taking a nap, also Hitoshi who got five hours sleep more than me this morning.
"Sure," I said, "Let's get going."
Murder.—
"What do you need to get?" Mina asked me while we walked.
"Oh, nothing," I shrugged and my eyes trailed off to kind brother who was ignoring Denki, "Hitoshi needs something though." Like a beating— no, that's a joke, sorry.
Denki put one hand in his pocket and then waved his hand for an high five towards Hitoshi. He flinched, which did not go unnoticed by Denki.
And now I felt bad."Come on, let's go swim suit shopping!!" I got pulled away. With some girls from 1A I walked through the mall. I felt off, but it was probably just me being tired.
Suddenly the bad feeling got worse.
Slowly I walked out of the store. My tail puffed up slightly as I approached danger.
Looking around, nothing seemed dangerous.
I looked over the large mall. There were a lot of people.
My ears appeared and I listened.
"How many do you think I can kill before I leave. 20? 30?"
My eyes fell on green hair. Midoryia stood with someone behind him. A friend? His face gave away fear though.
Slowly I neared.And then I paused.
"What the hell is he doing here?"
Midoryia was sure to tell Shigaraki all sorts of stuff about morals, and then Shigaraki left when Uraraka interfered.
I stood from a distance, hoping I wouldn't have to step in.
As Shigaraki disappeared in the crowd, the room seemed to get lighter again.
