"Whoa," I whispered softly. The coffee cup was already empty. I hadn't been able to stop it. How weak of me.
Maybe I was just that stressed. I mean, coffee when I was stressed was an old habit of mine...How did I manage to do such stupid things?
—
"Today—" Aizawa noticed me fidgeting with my tail as my eyes couldn't stay in one place.
"(Y/n), did you have coffee."It wasn't even a question.
The entire class turned to me as I couldn't help but to grin. I was so energetic, I couldn't sit still. Of course Aizawa noticed, even though we stood in front of one of the fake city areas."Sorry," I said, "I didn't sleep because I stress— and then I coffee— and now I feel good!!"
"Yeah— you won't be participating like this." Aizawa sighed.
Nezu suddenly jumped out of Aizawa's white scarf. He raised his paws in a silent cheer as he smiled cheerfully.
"No need! Today all of you will take your physical exams!! By fighting who, other than your very teachers!?"
I froze.
All stress and worry had not been for nothing. Maybe I had that animal sixth sense thing?
"I wanna go home." I said before I could think, though I wasn't the only one who felt like crying.—
The teams were announced. I was gonna fight, who other than, Aizawa!!
Fuck.
My quirk was useful. Apparently the levitation thing was, anyway.
I mean... could I levitate All Might? I wanted to figure it out, but it would be rude to just... try...
"Hey! Are you even paying attention?" Todoroki gave me a sharp glare.
"Sorry," I grinned, "Coffee brain." Or I had one, not that it was meant as insult—
"Is your brain made out of coffee?"
"Nope," I shook my head before I grabbed my tail and started fidgeting again, "Now how about that plan you had?"
—
Nezu was delighted to see her weakened like that.
He wanted her to suffer!
Not like that, but he wanted her to improve on things she didn't think she could approve in. Her parents may take her away from coffee all they wanted, but Nezu thought it was better she learned how to deal with it.
A hero should be prepared for any situation after all.—
The streets continued on and on. It was a neighbourhood with houses. One that I never really went to, though I had dealt with sloped rooftops a few times before. They're not that hard if you walk in the middle on the—
"Hey," Todoroki waved a hand in front of my face, "Don't get distracted again."
"Okay," I nodded sharply a few times, "Let's start!"
As if on cue, the speakers all around the area started speaking, announcing that our exam would begin.
Aizawa was released. He'd come looking for us.
Me and Todoroki stayed in the shadows as we slowly got closer and closer to the gate. Todoroki's plan was to get to the other side of the field, closer to the gate before shutting Aizawa off from us so we could make a run for the gate.
The plan involved me and Todoroki both, I mean, I would see if Aizawa was near and Todoroki would do the rest.
