Later, they both woke up to the soft morning light creeping through the window. Sarada blinked her eyes open, feeling a slight dizziness as she sat up, only to be immediately supported by Boruto’s arm around her shoulders.

"Good morning," he said with a sleepy smile, his voice still carrying the tenderness from their quiet moments together.

Sarada returned the smile, but her eyes still seemed tired, the lingering effects of the fever evident in her expression. "Morning," she murmured, brushing a hand through her disheveled hair.

Before they could continue their conversation, there was a knock at the door, followed by Hinata entering with breakfast on a tray.

"Good morning, you two," Hinata greeted warmly as she placed the tray on the bedside table. Her gaze immediately landed on Sarada, and her smile faltered when she noticed the paleness in her face.

"Sarada, are you feeling alright?" Hinata asked, concern evident in her voice. "You looked fine yesterday."

Sarada shifted uncomfortably, avoiding eye contact. "I’m fine, Mom. Just a little tired."

However, Boruto quickly cut in, his voice a little more serious than usual. "Mom, she was doing fine until last night. Her fever spiked again, and I had to stay up with her. I didn’t want to worry you, but it’s still pretty high."

Hinata's brow furrowed as she reached over to gently place her hand on Sarada’s forehead. Her face instantly fell when she felt the warmth still radiating from her skin. "Oh no, this fever is still too high," she said, her voice laced with worry.

"Mom, really, it’s fine," Sarada tried to reassure her, though her voice trembled slightly. "It’s not as bad as it seems. I’ll be okay."

Hinata shook her head gently, her concern not easing. "I’m not so sure, Sarada. It’s important to rest and let your body recover. We need to make sure your fever goes down."

Boruto leaned in closer, his arm still around Sarada’s shoulders, rubbing small circles on her back. "Mom’s right. You’re not going anywhere today. You’re staying in bed, and we’re making sure you get better."

Sarada tried to protest, but the warmth in both Boruto’s and Hinata’s voices made it hard to continue. She sighed softly, letting her shoulders slump in defeat. "Okay, okay. I’ll rest."

Hinata gave her a soft, comforting smile, brushing some stray hairs away from her face. "You’re always so strong, but even the strongest need to take a break. Let us help you."

Sarada nodded, feeling a deep sense of comfort from both of them, her family. Her gaze flickered to Boruto, who gave her an encouraging smile.

"Don't worry, princess," Boruto said softly, squeezing her hand. "We’ve got this. You just focus on getting better."

Hinata smiled warmly at the pair. "I've brought you breakfast, and if you need anything, just ask."

"Thanks, Mom," Sarada said, her voice a little quieter now, feeling overwhelmed but grateful for their care.

Hinata stayed a little longer, chatting with them while Sarada slowly ate a few bites, and then she left to make sure everything was ready downstairs. Boruto stayed by Sarada’s side, watching over her as she tried to rest, but his worry was still evident.

"Try to rest, okay?" Boruto said, brushing her cheek with the back of his hand.

Sarada looked up at him, her eyes softening. "I’ll try. But I’m sorry for worrying everyone... I just didn’t want to cause trouble."

Boruto chuckled softly, leaning in to kiss her forehead. "You’re never a trouble, love. We’ll always worry about you."
