Later that night, Boruto and Sarada joined Naruto, Hinata, and Hima for dinner. The meal was warm and comforting, filled with light conversation and laughter as everyone tried to keep the atmosphere cheerful for Sarada. Every now and then, Boruto would glance over at her, his eyes filled with a quiet worry he couldn't quite shake.

Sarada noticed, nudging him under the table to catch his attention. "Hey, I’m okay," she whispered softly, giving him a small smile. "You don’t have to keep looking at me like that."

Boruto gave her a faint smirk in return, though his eyes still held a flicker of concern. "I’ll believe that when you finally take a full day to rest, my lady," he teased. "Until then, you’re not off the hook."

Hinata watched them fondly, a soft smile on her face as she served another helping of food to Naruto, who chuckled at the teasing exchange between the young couple. "You two really are good for each other," she said gently.

By the time dinner was over, Sarada felt a comforting warmth settling over her. She was grateful for their support, especially from Boruto, who had practically stayed by her side the whole day.

As they headed back to their room, Boruto wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close. "Alright, princess, time for some real rest. Doctor’s orders," he said, half-jokingly but with a serious undertone.

Sarada leaned into him, sighing. "Fine, I’ll stay put. Just this once," she teased.

They both changed into their sleepwear, the room dimly lit by the soft glow of a bedside lamp. As they lay down, Boruto wrapped his arms around Sarada, pulling her close against his chest. She relaxed into his warmth, feeling a deep sense of peace.

"Goodnight, Sarada," he murmured softly, brushing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

She smiled, her eyelids growing heavy. "Goodnight, Boruto."

Within minutes, Sarada drifted off, her breathing soft and steady against his chest. Boruto stayed awake just a bit longer, brushing his fingers gently through her hair and feeling grateful that he could be there for her, no matter what came their way.

Finally, he closed his eyes, holding her securely in his arms, and drifted off to sleep, content with her beside him.
