The next morning, a gentle ray of sunlight slipped through the curtains, casting a warm glow over Boruto and Sarada as they lay tangled together. Boruto stirred first, blinking sleepily before glancing down at Sarada, still nestled against his chest, her breathing soft and even. A fond smile crept onto his face as he gently brushed a few stray strands of hair from her face.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," he murmured softly, though he knew she was still fast asleep.

Not wanting to wake her just yet, he carefully slipped out of bed, making sure she remained comfortable. He quietly made his way to the door, only to bump right into Hinata, who was holding a tray of breakfast with a knowing smile.

"Good morning, Boruto," she greeted softly. "I thought I’d bring breakfast to you both in bed. She could use the extra rest."

Boruto grinned. "Thanks, Mom. This is perfect." He took the tray from her and set it down on the bedside table, then sat beside Sarada, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, Sarada," he whispered, nudging her lightly. "Breakfast in bed, just for you."

She mumbled something incoherent and turned, trying to bury herself back into the warmth of the blankets. Boruto chuckled softly, leaning down to place a tender kiss on her forehead.

"Come on, you’ll feel better after you eat," he coaxed.

Slowly, Sarada’s eyes fluttered open, and she blinked sleepily up at him, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips as she took in the sight of him and the breakfast tray beside her.

"You spoil me too much," she teased, her voice still thick with sleep.

"Not nearly enough," Boruto replied with a smirk. "Now sit up before I feed you myself."

Sarada rolled her eyes, but the affectionate gleam in her gaze was unmistakable. She sat up, and they shared a cozy breakfast together, stealing bites from each other’s plates and exchanging playful banter. Boruto couldn’t help but sneak in a few more kisses, making Sarada blush and pretend to swat him away, though her smile never faded.

As they finished up, Sarada looked at him with gratitude. "Thanks for taking care of me, Boruto. I don’t know what I’d do without you."

He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her close, resting his forehead against hers. "You’ll never have to find out," he murmured. "I’m always here for you, no matter what."

They stayed like that for a moment, wrapped in each other’s warmth, before the day fully began. Whatever lay ahead, they knew they’d face it together, stronger than ever.
